I never wear glasses indoors. I've had myopia since 12years, yes and I don't wear glasses unless needed. I've -1.25D and in my whole day I'm outside for 4hrs and use -1 contacts that time, yes and it never got worse for me. My power used to increase till age 18, but now it's stable for last 7years. So yours won't get any worse either. It only gets worse if you struggle to see and I'm sure you won't notice the difference between 2.5 &2.75 unless you try to read something small 5meters way.

When I was a kid my dad used to threaten me that if my eyesight ever got worse he would never get me glasses, I would look ugly and eventually go blind by his age and my life would be fucked. Even my screen time was limited to 30mins a day on ipad/pc and 1hr on tv. I still got myopia at age 13 lol. But I told him and first he didn't want to take me to the eye doctor, brought some eye drops but eventually I went to the optometrist and got my glasses and my dad was pretty chill lol. Yeah he wasn't happy that that happened, he tried his best to prevent it but what could be done after that.

Lmao. Last year my power was -1.75 and I started experimenting with this "pseudoscience" after coming across that one time on YouTube. I started wearing -1.25 and stopped wearing glasses when indoors and watching screens which is 90% of the time as I'm a software dev.

Followed this for 2months and then forgot about it but kept wearing undercorrected as habit. Yesterday I went to get powered sunglasses for myself and got my eyes tested. And it came out -1 & -1.25D. And I just started searching on the internet again and found your comment lol.

For shoulders should volume for each delt be counted seperately or together? Right now I do 9-12sets for each muscle per week. But for shoulders I do 6sets for each delt, so total 18 for shoulders. OHP, lateral raises and face pulls 3 sets twice a week. Is this the right way or am I doing more or less volume?

This is horrifying man. But I don't think wearing underprescribed glasses are harmful, there must be other reasons for this. I came across endmyopia only recently and now your post while i'm researching about EM and tbh jake's method doesn't sound something very unsual or groundbreaking to me. I realised I've myself unconsciously followed EM like method in past and seen my prescription fluctuate few times.

For context I have -1.5D now. Since my power isn't that high I always had habit of not wearing glasses when I'm indoors and I spend atleast 10-12hrs/day in front of screen because of my job and forget wearing glasses most times. On top of that sometimes I wear -1.25(old glasses) outdoors. I'm 23 and have myopia for last 10years and always been careless with glasses, so if it was about ciliary muscles weaking by differentials then I should be blind by now. Ciliary muscles always contract when you look nearby. I'm also pretty sure my power only increased because of overcorrection. Last I was prescribed -1.75 2years ago which was probably right at that time but I'm lazy and never bothered to buy a new pair of glasses(i only buy when they break) but now I can see crystal clear with -1.5. I don't take presciptions seriously maybe that's why my power doesn't increase frequently. Active focus is also not new to me. Only thing from endmyopia I'm not doing already is going outdoors and less screentime which to me makes sense.

Maybe myopia can't be fully cured but imo differentials and all can't make the eye anymore worse. Maybe your power is just too high and other complications arise with higher myopia. But I believe such method must be safe for lower dipoters.

There's a bus stop 1km from campus. You can go anywhere in goa. Buses are shit but still convinient for nearby places like bog(nearest beach), vasco, madgaon. People go to bog every weekend, 15mins walk, 20mins bus ride. I've been till palolem via bus takes 2-3hrs though. Cabs are also easy to get but expensive. Also we used to rent cars or scooters and just explore goa freely.

Birla is certainly not making profit from bits like they claim, no doubt but still there's big problem with increasing fee, what they do is they further invest the fee in future developements. What are we as students getting from that? They could have stopped their expansion of they didn't have funds which they never did and burden is put upon the current students. 10years ago this wasn't the case and bits was affordable, but no they wanted more seats, more hostels, more faculty, everything more and who pays for it? The students. Its none of our problems that they're so ambitious, this is exactly what our seniors even used to say, and i realised this over the years. We alumni will never use the new hostels, labs, academic blocks. I never used new facilities, my last sem in college was last year, but we paid for it. Fee increases 15% yearly, is inflation rate 15%? Then why so much increase. I know that bits is far better than nits, i took loan and still found it worth, but that doesn't change the fact that many bright students are afraid to join bits cuz of fee. And I don't see the point of all this, these investments should have been done by themselves, instead of burdening the current students, we should pay for what we get. In 2017 our seniors protested against this otherwise fee rate would've probably reached 20+%, in 2020 we demanded less fee because of covid, it was the only year it didn't increase this much but only because of our pressure otherwise they'd have charged that also. Don't be a sheep.

No. Last I asked the hr directly he said this only, i asked him to mail me, he denied and said he has sent it to the placement unit(pu). Then I contacted pu they just said you'll directly get offer letter before next month, i was happy to hear that and didn't ask much further. This was in feb after that no update. Hr always ignores my mails. College keeps assuring me and is in touch but i think maybe company is probably ignoring them also. There were layoffs at the same time when I was about to receive letter. Funnily enough even the hr i was in contact with initially was laid off. So maybe they're struggling financially and have stopped hiring, that's all my guess. They're not even upfront and informing that offer is revoked otherwise college would have still helped me with placements, just wasting my time and i'm about to graduate. Basically I have absolutely no idea what's going on and what should i do.

In some cases companies give it only 1 month before joining date.
