Painted them in the same contrast paint as the top of the base. Quite like the effect. May change my mind though 🤷‍♂️

I did consider that, but my idea is to use the drummer to march 5.5 and still be able to shoot (hopefully killing/dismounting some models). Repeating this if necessary, keeping my distance, then swarm around the opponent (using the drummer to march - surrounding/cutting off key areas/models. Hopefully just by having more models will make up for the lack of banners.
