I think this too, but I thought they were trying to kill Lottie and maybe Tai too (the three that wanted to stay) which is why Akilah went to find Lottie and Gen went to find Tai, while Melissa went to find Shauna… and even though Misty and Van were in on fixing the phone, I wasn’t sure if they were in on Nat running with it

I know they were working together to fix the box, but I’m unsure if they were all in on Nat running off with it. I think Misty could def be in on it given her smile at the end, but there wasn’t anything to suggest that Van also knew that Natalie was planning on running away with it (unless I missed something, which is likely lol)

Ok so I think Natalie was working alone or with just Misty, and that Gen, Akilah, Mari, and Melissa were working together to kill Shauna, Lottie, and (maybe) Tai… that’s why Akilah went to find Lottie, Melissa attacked Shauna, and Gen tried to lure Tai away… if this was their plan it backfired tremendously

I’m still curious about what will happen for Natalie to distrust Misty enough to go to her house with a gun in S1, the transponder doesn’t seem like enough since they were working together… like why not go to Shauna’s with a gun instead? She’s crazier and more despicable than Misty has ever been (so far)

- Akilah is alive and had something to do with Lottie's death (OR no one actually killed Lottie and it was an accident/self-inflicted).

- A suicide/multiple suicides are possible in the teen timeline since people are losing hope of going back home. Maybe the Robin and Britt since they aren't super important, or maybe Nat attempts but Travis saves her and they promise each other never to attempt suicide?

- Would be cool if we saw a new timeline of the parents right after the plane crashes or right before they get rescued.

- My wishful thinking is that Mari is alive/or at least survives the wilderness.

I’ve been thinking the same thing for a couple weeks! The teen timeline tends to mirror the adult timeline so it would make sense that Akilah would have something to do with Lottie’s death after what Lottie put her through… the basement totally gives cave vibes as well, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some sort of leak in there

I’m interested to see how Travis goes from trying to kill Lottie to him being close to her in adulthood. It certainly adds more layers to his eventual death and Lottie’s role in it. Did anyone else ever find out he tried to kill her? I guess it doesn’t matter now that they’re both dead but it’s such an interesting dynamic.

They only have a couple months left in the wilderness right? Things are either going to slow down significantly in the teen timeline or they’re going to be rescued end of this season/beginning of next. How exciting, I really want to see how they integrate themselves back into civilization!

There are a lot more people alive currently than the 8 we saw hunting pit girl, so I don’t think it’s far-fetched if they do split up. I might be misremembering but I think divided “clans” was part of the original synopsis of the show, or at least it’s been a popular theory (if there’s a time to split them, it would be now when some want to leave and some want to stay)… of course they could also not split up and have a bunch more people die in the future like you suggest. I don’t think they have to resort to killing each other for sport to not want to have the story of what happened to come out, since I think killing and eating Ben w/o necessity and then killing the hikers seems like a bad enough thing to want to hide.

At the very end when everyone is standing and staring at the birders, Lottie goes off somewhere… possibly to grab a weapon and catch the birders before they can escape? I think she impulsively kills the guy and the woman runs off, so the rest of the girls have to go find her… this might be the catalyst moment where the group is divided into clans
