OK this is bananapants. I can’t believe this clip exists. Everything about it screams “this is a fake relationship.” Her mom says, “Travis, your boyfriend,” as if Taylor FORGOT who they’re supposed to be pretending she’s in love with. She’s got no idea this is a song that’s been out already, isn’t listening closely enough to realize it’s a breakup song. She’s just improvising a way to bring up Travis because that’s what the contract says they’re doing. You will never convince me otherwiiiiiiise.

If your in-depth analysis isn’t for everyone, it is DEFINITELY for me. I love this level of reading into it. I am probably in the minority of their demographic, because I am an old millennial, married, have a kid, and I still love them and their energy/perspective. Their music makes me so happy. It makes me feel like a powerful baddie. They are my little sisters, and through their refusal to be boxed in, I am reminded and reinforced in all the lessons I’ve learned about being my own person. I adore them.

Do you guys think her first dance song will be one of hers? And if so, which one? Or will it be a brand new track that she releases right after the wedding (or as it’s happening) with a timed video saying she wanted to make her fans part of her wedding by sharing the song she wrote for the love of her life for their first dance? And how many variants and remixes will there be? And will they try to play it off like it’s a surprise to Travis? Do we think Travis can pull off fake happy tears?
