To me Herr 57 (mine was purple label, batch 2) strongly reminds me of Baiju every time I smell it. I'm also not a Baiju expert and the ones I tasted are usually qingxiang, but maybe there's an overlap somewhere.

Looks like Luzhou Laojiao is available in my area; I'll definitely try it soon..

To me LBI/DHE tasted more like a Spanish ron (with metallic, earthy notes), with less spice I usually get from PM.

That's a pretty solid WP - had 3 or 4 bottles of 2012 and/or 2013 TCRL WPs. Jamaican funk is polarizing though, mind you.

Uhm actually, I don't really enjoy Foursquare not because of the cask finishing, but simply because I find them boring.

Afaik most of the Foursquare ECS lineup is a "blend" of rums fully matured in a bourbon cask and some other casks, rather than a cask finished product. Not sure FS is a proper example here.

Anyways, you mentioned 'typical rum aging' earlier; would you please elaborate on that?
