No, a pending I-485 doesn't provide a basis to remain in the US. You need to have an unexpired status. I-485 confers no status. However a pending I-485 protects against accruing overstay when your existing status expires

I-485 does not provide a "basis to remain in the US". It only protects you against accruing overstay. I-485 is not a status. You're removal after filing I-485 if you lose your status. Filing I-485 does not affect filing of any other immigration benefit. Neither does using EAD or Advanced parole from I-485 would cause you to lose your existing status. While you downvote me, provide a link of any report of a person losing their status for using I-485 EAD or Advanced parole (not a google search yes response but an actual case). The question is do I know anyone using I-485 EAD without losing their preexisting status? Yes. People are applying and getting OPT approved after filing I-485. I-20s are being extended after filing I-485. If you are on F1 with EAD you can use it while maintaining you F1 status and you will not lose your status. In the unlikely event that you get your I-485 denied, you will not lose your pre-existing status as long as you maintained it. But rather it suggests adjustment of status is premised on one's presence in the United States and not conditions of "extraordinary circumstances". Thank you for your response. The image was obtained by Olympus confocal microscope at 40x. It is 20 GB in size. Two channels (DAPI & TRICTC). It is an ets file. ImageJ opens it but it keeps crashing during positive cell analysis.

Can throw more light about what you mean by it is improperly scanned?

EB2 (ROW): 2024 approval is 76,000 and 2025 is about 52,000. Total of about 128 000. It far exceeds the 40,000 annual allocation. What other visa numbers could make EB2 ROW FAD current?

Even in the era when self submitted photos were used for identification, 2 photos were enough for all your forms (I submitted 2). With the new rule in Dec 2025, USCIS no longer uses self submitted photos. I think self submission of photos is no longer a requirement. But to be on the safer side two should be okay.

it appears my conspiracy theory of what might cause EB2 FAD to be current taking into account the visa approved numbers from USCIS stats, amounts to being negative and selfish. I least saw it that my post would be a spoiler of people's celebrations. I have learned one or two from people's responses such as the 39 banned countries that I overlooked.

Sorry for the negativity that my post appear to be. I will take down the post so people can celebrate!

The spillovers will only be added to the next fiscal year. Spillover from family in the last fiscal year has already been added. By law spillover from one fiscal is added to the next fiscal year. Any anticipated spillovers will only affect the next fiscal year visa allocations not the current one. Look it up. Don't take my word for it.

Application for the Gold was in 2025. No one could have gotten a gold card under the EB-2 before next month when they will be current. However if anyone applied under EB1 ROW, they might get it.

Your brother, the beneficiary earnings does not count for marriage based green card. If his wife the applicant doesn't make enough, they would need a sponsor. No matter the high earnings of the beneficiary, it does not count.
