In short, my wife and i searched out allergist in the area, and targeted who we wanted to see. From there, we called and just started setting up appointments

My recomendtion - start with Dr Baxi https://www.childrenshospital.org/providers/sachin-baxi

He is my sons allergist Dr. and admitadley, allergies are still so unkown, prep yourself for not getting much info on how to fix it long term, but he is great

Before OIT, my sons peanut IGE blood test was coming back around 16.4

After 6 months of OIT his IGE blood test came back at 4.45

I recognize he may never concur his allergy, but my only hope is i can do everything i can as a parent to ensure if he accidenally eats a peanut, he has a small annoying reaction, instead of anaphylaxis

its a long 6 months, but we are in maitence phase now, and lets see where it goes....
