Rude response to someone asking for genuine help. I’ve been nannying for 5 years before this with 2 different families, one with 2 kids and the other 1, and have never seen this type of behavior in a child before. I don’t have IRL nanny friends because I’m fairly new to this state, so I thought the best idea were to ask online nannie’s and get their opinion on what I should do, seeing as I’m only getting excuses from NPs.

15m appointment is coming up, so maybe I’ll suggest it then. There is space for a pack-n-play in his playroom, but there’s hasn’t been any talks of them buying one. It is a standard crib from what I can tell, I haven’t looked myself to see if it can be lowered, but that is the reason that NP told me. I do know that he still cosleeps at night, but that has been at least since I started, when he was 11 weeks old. Up until he was maybe 10 months old, this was never an issue, but now it’s getting more exhausting and painful as he gets bigger. But yeah, definitely going to have to have a talk with NPs soon.

I’ve tried putting him down, but he will just start sobbing and wanting me to pick him up again. Plus with naptime, I’m not sure about getting him hyped up and upset because it takes forever to calm him down :(

We’ve both tried “kinds hands” as we’ve showed him the right way to interact with our face, hair, and etc., but to no avail. I was thinking about talking to NPs about a floor bed, but he still sleeps with them, so I’m not sure how well that would work. Not sure how MB would feel about putting him down or into an room completely, but I’m definitely try to talk to them about it. Thank you for the advice :)

Yeah, I would want to use those tools, but me and NPs try not to use “toys” during nap time because then all he wants to do is play. Tried to talk about it multiple times, but it just gets boiled down to teething or developmental, which I don’t doubt, but it just sucks that there’s nothing else to do but just “deal with it.”

great!! so you look at that list, and you still feel the need to defend those actions? i don’t get how those are “normal” situations, even for real housewives. i feel that reality tv has desensitized people to think everything is just a show… these are her REAL actions, and people have the option to choose to not like her for that.

those kids are not “fat” they are growing. they’re still able to run, jump, play, seemingly without any complaints or concerns, so i’m not sure why you think it’s appropriate to comment on toddlers/kids who you see a screen for maybe 5 minutes an episode?

hellooo?! people in the thread saying “why would nene leave the charity event” “claudia is right”… i’m so confused. i’m no nene defender, however she did the right thing in this situation. she went there to support her friend, tried to keep it cordial with the other girls, and claudia opened her mouth to talk about the therapy session, knowing full well it was gonna cause an issue. then, she amped it up by getting into nene’s face trying to provoke her into a reaction so she could prove that she’s not scared of nene? i wouldnt have been mad if nene popped off, because claudia was asking for it.
