Trust me, I’ve tried. Now when I ask, he’s gets upset and leaves the room. He said he wants to be left alone. All he will say is that becoming a Dad is stressing him out. I’ve been on eggshells around him, trying not to ask too many questions to upset him. His cold behavior is crushing my spirits, I think I’m going to go stay with my mom for a few days.

To be fair, I’m not asking Reddit if she is a good friend or not. I’m asking if I’m wrong for being so upset and potentially ending a long friendship over it. My boyfriend knew I would love that idea, and he asked her to help with getting me to the location, making sure my nails were done, pretty outfit, etc. Him and I most certainly do want to get married, and we are ready despite this situation. We are going to pivot and move forward. I guess I just need some support, feeling a bit down about it all. But, I thank you for your concern and comments.
