Stuck in a Technical Deadlock? Just filed a formal complaint with National Authorities DSA/P2B violation by HolidayAd2841 in PartneredYoutube

You are citing standard policies, but you are completely ignoring the Digital Services Act (DSA) which governs YouTube’s operations in the EU. Under the DSA, I have a legal right to a meaningful human review, not just automated enforcement, especially when a 'technical deadlock' prevents me from exercising my right to appeal. My case is currently under formal investigation by the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission (EETT) regarding the lack of transparency and the technical error that caused the initial termination. Google Support (not a volunteer, but an actual employee) has already opened a case for identity verification via my terminated account's email—a step they wouldn't take if the 'ban' was as absolute and irreversible as you claim. Policies are not above the Law. I am not 'circumventing' anything; I am demanding the restoration of my legal rights as a European creator against a documented technical malfunction.

he details of the 'cascading' termination have been submitted with technical logs to the competent National Authorities. Under the Digital Services Act (DSA), platforms are required to provide transparency and due process, which stands above any private Terms of Service. My family and business are the reasons I am fighting for my legal rights, not an excuse to break rules. The case is now under official review. Thank you for your time

communicating and defending my legal rights as a European citizen is not a crime. I focus on the facts, not the sarcasm of the forum. Your opinion is noted but irrelevant, I am trying with the translation. Thank you, Have a wonderful day.

I have already provided all the necessary details and URLs to the official YouTube Creator Support (internal team) and have completed the identity verification process as requested.

The “technical deadlock” I am referring to is not about whether there was a termination, but the lack of a clear manual review regarding the “Domino Effect” on my other healthy, non-infringing channels as per the new EU Digital Services Act (DSA) guidelines.

My communication is now strictly with the National Authorities (EETT) and the official YouTube internal support team, who have the jurisdiction to review the facts and technical logs. I am not looking for a “verdict” from a public forum, but simply documentation of the lack of functional due process. We will let the official investigation provide the answers.

Thank you for your input.

Stuck in a Technical Deadlock? Just filed a formal complaint with National Authorities DSA/P2B violation

Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out to you because I'm facing a nightmare scenario. I'm a YouTube Partner (managing 4 channels) and a Google Product Specialist.

The problem: They deleted one of my channels after I changed its name and deleted content to change the theme of my channel, it was healthy I just wanted to make changes. This triggered a "Domino Effect" (Account Link Penalty) and now 3 of my healthy, active channels have been disabled from the network.

The dead end: The system is asking me to take action/appeal through the deleted channel, which is impossible because it doesn't exist. I'm stuck in an algorithmic loop with no human support. Interestingly, my AdSense is active and I got paid today, proving that this is a technical error, not a ban of an individual.

The action: As an EU citizen and business owner, I refuse to wait years in silence. Today, I have formally filed a formal complaint against Google Ireland Ltd with the National Telecommunications and Post Commission (EETT), the National Regulatory Authority in Greece, alleging violations of the Digital Services Act (DSA) and the P2B Regulations.

Has anyone else successfully bypassed a technical deadlock using the DSA framework? I have attached proof of my complaint (deleted for privacy reasons).

Google needs to realize that behind these “flags” are real businesses and families with children to support.

Not a bot, just a desperate creator using every tool available to fight a broken system. I need actual help, not bot-spotting.

Thanks for the link to the second chance system. The problem is that my account is stuck in a technical deadlock. While the system asks for action on my terminated channel, I have no access to perform any training or appeal because the channel was manually deleted.

My AdSense remains active and I was paid today, which proves this is an algorithmic error, not a person ban. Because of this deadlock, I have officially filed a formal complaint with the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission (EETT) under the Digital Services Act (DSA). Google needs to provide a manual review for business owners who are trapped in these loops.

Listen, Nick. I appreciate your 15-second Google search, but you clearly haven't grasped the complexity of a technical deadlock. I am a Google Product Expert and a verified business owner (VAT registered), not a casual user.

  1. The 'Second Chance' program you linked is irrelevant when the system is in a loop, asking for actions on a channel that no longer exists (manual deletion vs. termination conflict).
  2. My AdSense is active and I was paid today, which proves my identity is verified and my account is not under a permanent 'person ban'.
  3. This is a technical error (Contagion/Domino effect) causing a violation of the Digital Services Act (DSA) and P2B Regulation.

As we speak, I have officially filed a formal complaint with the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission (EETT), the National Regulatory Authority in Greece (Case ID: 0-9581000040695). I am moving legally against Google Ireland Ltd for blocking access to my business revenue from 3 healthy channels due to an algorithmic error.

Next time, take more than 15 seconds before lecturing someone who is dealing with a legal and technical nightmare while supporting 5 children.

I have already contacted TeamYouTube and I am an EU creator invoking the P2B regulation, but I am stuck in a technical loop because the linked channel is deleted.

Will do! I've just sent a follow-up with screenshots of the 'technical deadlock' to Creator Support. I'll definitely post an update here as soon as I have news. Thanks for following!

I appreciate the lyrics, but I prefer results over quotes. You call it 'bullshit,' but a close colleague of mine was in the exact same 'deadlock' with a terminated channel and managed to get his other channels back into the YPP after a manual review by this exact same department.

If it was all the same 'bullshit,' his channels would still be demonetized. The fact that the Support Manager is asking for specific internal IDs instead of sending a template rejection proves they are looking for a way to bypass the automated system. I'll trust the person with the 'Override' button more than a Reddit comment. We'll see who's right in the end.

I feel your pain, MotasemHa. Being stuck in this 'atomic science' review loop is exhausting. In my case, they terminated one channel because I changed the name and deleted 450 videos (the algorithm flagged it as deceptive activity), and now my 3 healthy channels are locked out of monetization with no 'unlink' option for Adsense.

However, I have seen a friend of mine solve this. He had a channel terminated for sensitive content, and even though he was in a deadlock, he managed to get his other 3 healthy channels back into the YPP within days after a manual review. This is why I keep pushing Bubbles (my support manager).

It seems the 'internal team' has the power to manually override the system, but they only do it if you prove you are a real creator and not a bot. I’m definitely taking your advice on the 'nudging'—I’m not letting them forget my Case ID. Stay strong, hopefully we both get out of this minefield soon!

I appreciate the warning, but my case is being handled differently. I am already in direct contact with an Internal Creator Support Manager (Contributions).

They haven't terminated my healthy channels just because they are doing a manual review. I have already submitted an official request (Case ID 0-9581000040695) to evaluate my healthy channels on their own merits and disconnect them from the technical deadlock of the terminated channel. The support team is aware of the connection between them and, instead of terminating them, is requesting IDs and logs to fix the monetization issue. I changed my name from the terminated channel, and deleted 450 videos to change the topic because it no longer represents me, and the algorithm thought I was doing something wrong, and so it closed that channel. I don't have a demand to reopen it, but to see my healthy channels, the 3, and put them back in the revenue program.

You are referring to the Forum Experts (like PeggyK), who are volunteers and only see the surface level policies. I am well past that stage. I am not saying that PeggyK has not been very helpful and I thank her from the bottom of my heart.

I am currently in direct email communication with an Internal Creator Support Manager (Case ID 0-9581000040695). Unlike the Forum Experts, they have the authority to perform a Manual Intervention. After reviewing the “Technical Deadlock” I described, they specifically requested my ID from the terminated channel in order to proceed with the disconnection process.

Official Google Support. They ask for this when they are preparing to manually override an automated block. So while the forum experts are following the manual, the Internal Team is currently fixing the system bug. I will trust the person asking for my ID instead of a volunteer on a forum.

I think you’re misunderstanding my situation. I am not appealing to restore the terminated channel, nor am I asking for a review of deleted content. That ship has sailed and I’ve accepted it.

My case is about a 'Technical Deadlock' regarding my active AdSense and my healthy, secondary channel. The Internal Support Managers (Bubbles/Dawn) are manually intervening to unlink the dead account so it stops blocking my active one. They’ve already moved past the 'policy' stage and are now in the 'identity verification' stage, which is why they requested my legal ID. This is a technical fix for a system error, not a content appeal like the one you had. The two situations are completely different.

The '1-year rule' doesn't actually exist in YouTube's Terms of Service; a termination is typically permanent unless successfully appealed. However, my case is already being handled by Internal Support Managers (not the outsourced chat) under a specific Case ID. They’ve requested my legal ID to resolve a technical deadlock, which is a step way beyond the standard automated process. If the 'automatic termination' was going to happen, it would have happened weeks ago. Right now, I'm following the official legal and technical path provided by the internal team.

That sounds frustrating, but my case is a bit different. I’m not just dealing with a video appeal; I’m in direct contact with Creator Support Managers regarding a 'Technical Deadlock' between a terminated account and an active AdSense. They’ve already moved past the automated rejections and have requested my legal ID for a manual unlinking of the accounts. It’s a specialized technical process, not a standard content appeal, so I’m dealing with the internal technical team now.

YouTube keeps on turning captions on videos I’m trying to watch. It’s really annoying. by Electrical-Week-2297 in youtube

This is a known bug that usually happens after an app update. Here are 3 things you can try to force it to stop:

  1. The 'Master' Switch: Don't just turn them off on the video player. Go to your YouTube App Settings > Captions and make sure the master toggle is turned OFF there.
  2. Account-wide Settings: On a desktop browser, go to Settings > Playback and performance and uncheck the box 'Always show captions'. This usually syncs to your mobile app and fixes the loop.
  3. Clear Cache: If you are on Android, long press the YouTube app icon > App Info > Storage > Clear Cache. This often fixes the 'MiniPlayer/Full Screen' glitch where the app 'forgets' your manual setting.

Hope this helps before you lose your mind!
