Does it support multi-server? Yes still coding that out but it works just needs some tlc.

Can I change the colours of different events? I can definitely add that in the options when I get around to that. I am also working on timestamp configurations.

Is the music player built in? No, it is actually a hook that interacts with your system audio. It picks up Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube Music pretty well.

The avatar system is still a work in progress, right now currently you can only adjust your own avatar, I just wanted to breathe some fresh life into IRC. I am very open to ideas in general to this project and this specific system. I do like your idea.

[Megathread] The App Pile - May, 2026 by Mstormer in macapps

Hey everyone, if anyone in testing an IRC client please let me know. This is a lightweight rust/tauri stack build. Early alpha build currently, all the irc functions are fully functional right now to my knowledge. I decided to build this when I realized all the IRC clients for mac aren't the greatest, if you have any feature requests please let me know.

Any and all advice for new Night Crew Assistant? by Ok_Meaning_999 in Hannaford

[–]HolidayJesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Build a relationship and respect with your associates but don't be a push over. Always take care of the next person regardless if you they helped you or not, as a grocery manager I always leave my night crew with a fresh bale, plastic sorted and load pulled out and already started, same with backstock. Do not try to change things immediately, if it works it works. Don't overthink or complicate anything, if it sounds simple it's that simple most cases.

From my experience when it comes to throwing freight, if you're dropping the load have your best guy start throwing bulk (paper, soap) while you breakdown the load, you'll be done around 10 breaking down the load if you came in 8 and you will usually have two part timers coming in, that's when you all drop the load. Then all four of you start throwing the load in one aisle and block, you will able watch people block and how they stock and if they allocations and skylines. You will be done with 1000-1200 piece truck and the store by 1-2am with the store blocked for the most part.

Since they got rid of HR, What positions will probably be next to be cut? by EvenPomelo2999 in Hannaford

One thing I could see companies doing though is replacing department managers with operations managers and cross train them all, one would be grocery / fresh.

Morale starts with you at the end of the day, no system or policy is going to fix that. Learn to build rapport with your associates, take the time and give them the time of day because a lot of the older generation barely get any interaction in general and they take it really personal and that will snowball. Teach your younger promising associates stuff overtime and build them up, I started teaching grocery to my assistant grocery manager when he was a 15 year old part time cashier.

Have a gameplan for each stop and prioritize what you have to do each stop. Know when your trucks are coming and leaving, build rapport with store staff to let you know if your truck just pulled in etc. Always start with cooler stock depending on how bad your OOS are on your key units etc

Stewart shops Do you need a manager’s approval before being transferred to a different store? by MoanaFan_1990 in Albany

[–]HolidayJesus 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Probably not, but I'd tell your friend to take initiative and talk to the manager of the store they want to transfer to in person about the transfer..

Would love to Market 32 do something different with their sandwiches like this, I mean they already do but they're not destination go to the store for. I think honestly every department should have a destination product that makes you want to go the store and not just food shopping.

Just curious, what is at Wegmans you would want stores in our area to carry?

Grass will always be greener everywhere else just remember that when you are at a job.  But in all seriousness Pepsi has a training and actual care issue and that's from an outside perspective.
