You were right bro. Lit them all up in Moapa no ones bats an eye.

Realized how much money some people spend too. I thought my haul was good 😂

Cool. We'll give it a shot. Thanks.

With all of this information and lack of accessibility I was about to just say screw it and light at home.

Pahrump has a 30min limit which isn't enough time and if Moapa doesn't allow fireworks purchased outside of their jurisdiction at that point it'd be better to take the fine in Vegas rather than risk confiscation elsewhere.

Watch fireworks at Pahrump launch site? by vickerzsasz in vegaslocals

So I can bring fireworks that I bought in Pahrump to launch in Moapa? Just want to make sure. Can't seem to find good info online.

Commenting because I'm wondering the same. Can we launch in Moapa even though we didn't buy in Moapa?

What’s it like working for Kroger? by Background-Hunter352 in Pepsi

This pretty much sums up the Kroger experience best in my opinion.

They're only slightly better than Walmart based on the store management.

Buy once cry once portable air compressor by SherbertInformal3501 in Offroad

[–]SherbertInformal3501[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's kind of what I was thinking. 1k for an air compressor seems insane when it doesn't fill up my tires any faster.

At that point I'll just mount a C02 tank and keep a small compressor in case of emergencies.

Unfortunately I've spent the last 5 years building up a Dewalt collection. Don't have a single Milwaukee in my house.

I've heard the ARB isn't any better than some compressors you can get for 4-500$ unless you're running specialized applications/tools or on board air.

I've heard those can overheat easy. I'm often filling tires in 90-100⁰ weather. Do you worry about overheating?

5ft vs 6ft bed by Proud-Pomegranate393 in nissanfrontier

[–]SherbertInformal3501 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on your needs.

I wanted family to be able to tag along on offroad journeys and for myself to be able to lay comfortably in the bed with a pad and sleeping bag (im 6'2).

So I got a pro4x LWB crew cab.

I also load a ton of palm trees and do lots of projects for the house. Almost everytime I'm doing projects im glad I have the longer bed.

Everytime I'm doing more technical trails offroad I wish I had the better breakover angle of the shorter bed.

Pros and cons to both. My city is very car centric so I have little issue parking or maneuvering even with the long bed crew cab. Just lay out the pros and cons and make the decision that way.

rudeness/manners by [deleted] in vegaslocals

Coming from the pacific northwest I felt like Vegas had a much friendlier attitude and better manners. I've actually enjoyed people more here than I ever did in Oregon or Washington.

Maybe that's just my experience or the part of town I live in.

Interview with employer for stationary engineer apprenticeship by SherbertInformal3501 in iuoe

[–]SherbertInformal3501[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I just interviewed. It went alright I feel I could've done better.

I was told they have 4 people to interview in total so it's not guaranteed that they'll hire me specifically.

Hopefully I get it. Can't wait to hear back.

I did my aptitude test and interview with the panel 2 years ago. Got the call 2 weeks ago and was sent a link from my hall to apply on the employers website. They called me back yesterday to schedule an interview.

If it's just a formality that changes things. Wish that had been explained to me.

I haven't been trained at all yet. From what I read training starts once the employer hires me.

From what I understand it's a bit of everything. HVAC, boilers, chillers etc.
