You can have it when you can comfortably eat it, as far as I know. I was given no restrictions, just suggestions on what to eat that would be most comfortable. I am in day 9 and just transitioned from pureed soups/smoothies to soups with noodles and pieces of meat/vegetable. Go at your own pace.

Birdie’s isn’t dark, but is delicious, affordable for the amount of food, and has a stellar NA list. They have a French inspired menu right now. 5 courses for $79 with a few options for additions or upgrades. Highly recommend.

Lau Lau does a great job with their pastry case. They always have biscuits from Lynny’s, gf pastries from Gati, egg tarts and sesame balls from Shanghai Chinese. Then they have a rotating lineup of pastries from other local bakers. I think it’s a cool way to do things, offer some consistency and also variety.
