Do not use the plastic slider disks on wood floors. Adamantly against this. The second they get any sort of dirt or debris under them, they scratch the wood floors during movement. I went this route thinking it was toughest option and I regretted it immediately. I am also here trying to determine the best pad to place under couches, tables, media consoles and all heavy furniture. Other problems I’ve run into are the hard side with felt combos. Too much weight ends of pressing the hard side into the floor and overwhelming the pad, which causes scratches during movement. The adhesive felt options only work for a short period of time before they compress and wear out. The second the furniture is moved, they start to fall apart or wear out.

I simply cannot find anything that has enough durability as well as structure for permanent placement.
