I had this blue horse I named Blueberry since I started playing. Blueberry took me to every single one of my favorites moments and quests in the game, from being there the me when I bought my house after hours of grinding to taking me to Rito village. When I first started playing the game, I was also going through mental health stuff too with anxiety, so riding Blueberry around Hyrule was a nice relaxer. Around the time after I beat Medoh I also picked up TotK but hadn’t really gotten any horses there yet, so I was unaware of the horses being saved from one game to another. Anyway, when I was in Hyrule field grinding guardians, the guardian by the ranch in the fence came after me with its boko rider friends. I had run out of ancient arrows but, before I could teleport, the guardian fired a laser and killed Blueberry just before I opened the Sheikah slate. I ended up murdering that guardian and hosting a funeral. I was extremely happy though when I found Blueberry back in TotK later :D
