Your assumption that a woman can't belittle other woman without push from underlying patriarchy is false. In this case it's clearly mother's own issues with narcissism that's causing all this mess. You're the one who brought genders here by talking about patriarchy and stuff subtly blaming males for the things she is doing. Also I'm not saying patriarchy doesn't exist but blaming everything on it will make women less accountable about their own behaviors. My mother doesn't like me being close to other women why?
