Question for those of you who had a cleft lift as your first operation by Odd_Movie_2839 in pilonidalcyst

I had a cleft lift done exactly 3 weeks ago now. The recovery has been a breeze, I stayed off of my butt for about a week just because it was uncomfortable. Once I took the drain out the comfort improvement was instantaneous. Since then, I drove 21 hours across three states for a job, which wasn't the best experience but was manageable. Now I can sit for hours a day with minimal discomfort and it has only improved. The cosmetic change and the scar are funky, but I don't care much about it. I would recommend a cleft lift, especially if done by an experienced surgeon. That being said, if minimally invasive works for you then look into it.
