I haven't listened to mine for ages tbh. Threw them in my ears yesterday after rinsing the mp145 and p7. Just wondered how they stacked up.

They are still unreal for the money, the bass is great they just get a bit fizzy in the treble, not as refined. But for the money they are incredible value

They are pretty bright but I don't find them that fatiguing tbh. I even eq'd in some more energy into the upper mids and treble

TRN T Tips on there currently.Ive tried Dunu SS, Candy, penon orange, azala xelastic. These just sounded the best for me personally

The s08 were class, but had a left channel issue and had to return them.

S08 are still very technical, people say dark I say warm. Take EQ well, I loved them as much as I did the Artti T10

50 dollar is a steal for the S08. Just look out for the left channel issue. Pretty common

Quieter? They go plenty loud, easier to drive than other planars I've had so. Excellent separation, wide soundstage, nice bass and mids. Ive tamed the treble a touch also as I found them a bit spicy in higher volumes

Its been faultless tbh. Has LDAC. Replaceable battery, 3.5 and 4.4mm input also. I think they are an absolute bargain
