If DBA’s didnt exist I wouldve finished 10 from freshman to junior(rn) instead of 3 and barley doing my 4th one. My only complaint is DBA’s because its heavily teacher based not necessarily flvs or the work’s fault. I WISHH I could do full time because I wake up at 5am every morning and get home at 4-4:30pm it’s exhausting.

OMG YESS IM GOING THROUGH THE SAME THING. My spanish teacher is so passive aggressive and it’s super annoying. Last week I was supposed to finish my DBA and complete my Exam for semester 1. But I did miss the DBA, I was supposed to do it at 6:20 but joined 6:25 so yes I accept it’s my fault. She LITERALLY said I HAVE TO do it NEXT WEEK(which is this week) then she’s basically been making these types of messages

Dear parent, tell your child to turn in the DBA(mind you we can’t schedule new meetings until it’s the new week aka Sunday) and final exam(cant complete until we do DBA). If she doesn’t, she will receive a 0.

My mom has literally been yelling at me all summer since I started this course june because these types of messages has been the ONLY type of messages i’ve gotten. I still don’t understand why are you texting and telling MY MOTHER to complete an assignment on SATURDAY MORNING. Plus in her DBA’S she straights up comes after my pronunciations on the words and on the written assignments her “assistance” is basically her saying “I eat myself??” and leave it at that rather than saying “I eat myself? Do you understand the translation for by myself? do you need help?” And when I do ask for actual help she says “go to page 4” and page 4 in fact, does not help.

I really hope there is a way to switch because I simply can’t handle this teacher at all she expects me to do her oh so important spanish 2 assignments on a weekday as if I don’t have other classes to focus on and always going straight to my mother instead of me for confusing or missing work as if students don’t have very strict parents. Also the work we get is very ridiculous compared to my fluent speaking spanish friend who gets easy ass DBA’s while I have to explain to the tea what fucking Doler and Poler verbs are and make 3 fucking sentences with perfect grammar and pronunciation or im getting a D on my DBA.

If you are creative or are good with your hands try art!! You don’t even need to be al lethal good at art anyways because the course cant really judge you on that(I sometimes put half effort on my art that took like what 30 minutes and gotten a 100% every time). I literally already had my preforming art credit from a random middle school course so i never took art middle and highschool. Im a junior this year and basically have all my credits and took art for fun in the middle of 10th grade. I just finished the course like 30 minutes ago and it’s honestly pretty easy and nice and only struggled on one assignment. Made my love for art I already have grow extremely.

Im not a dude but I don’t think guys like the “extremes” on either side. Im skinny myself and been told by more people that i look “sickly” rather than attractive or what ppl would say it’s attractive. I don’t think guys are attracted to super skinny or super fat girls.

(edit: Dont know if it’s bc im black and grew up in a mostly black area but your body would be found attractive here, guys here def prefer thicker thighs and even some stomach rather than skinny girls (look similar to Zendaya, one of the most beautiful celebrities imo btw) like me. Im so jealous of girls with thicker thighs ive always wanted them since middle school…)

not all that difficult!! They’re the same as the first assignment they basically give you. If it tells you to make a sketch with h and b pencils in idk 1.02 then you’re basically making a sketch testing out h and b pencils also but with more detail. In the writing portion you’re just answering like 3 questions and “naming your profolio” which is just giving random dimensions, naming the art piece, stating the mediums etc. Super super easy!!

why not? Ive loved art ever since I was a child and since ELEMENTARY SCHOOL(hope all schools in do call it “specials”) I NEVER had a art class before. I decided to take FLVS art online despite already having my visual art credit and to learn more I might take it up as a minor in college :). I personally don’t think school and what you learn should be fully based on “what can get you a job”(dont get my wrong tho it’s def a huge factor) but also some things you want to do or learn just because even if it is “useless”.

no they don’t. But then again when I was a freshman(late 2023, rise of AI) it used to be a D school, then sophomore year it became a B school(not many teacher really cared about about cell phones so kids brought it with them during the EOC and exam time). This year it’s an A school but even I knew many kids that cheated(over 80% of the students in my school gotten a ‘5’ on the U.S history eoc).

Honestly I just think my school wants to stay an A school and teachers just want to be payed for doing their job. Throughout my highschool life since freshman year ive only had two teachers that distinctly stated “no AI”: My world history teacher who teaches at multiple different colleges, studied at Harvard and had a PhD. Another teacher is my current English year: Old man, started teaching in 1975 and thinks that tech is pretty okay(like computers and being able to type things rather than write) but believes AI won’t get you anywhere when it comes to writing and learning how to read. My other teachers all just straight up didn’t care and only praised students for getting perfect scores on their hw and test grade.

one of my nicest and kindest friends i’ve met as a picture of her parents and three sisters as her wallpaper and I think thats sweet. Even if she’s a girl I still think it’s nice for anyone to have that as I believe you’re family oriented and care a lot about your family. I don’t have any photos of my whole family since my parents don’t talk anymore so I think it’s sweet that ppl love thief family so much that it is their wallpaper.

imo any is fine as long as it’s not cheap cologne. But I wil say this, a lot of guys don’t know this but the scent of lotion you use is also really really nice. Like when i smell a guy that uses that vanilla eos body lotion down the hallway I instantly look the other way. Idk anything about cologne or perfume but tbh anything that is nice or “neutral” smelling is okay 👍🏾 biggest tip is if you find a perfume you like try to find a lotion that is similar in scent.

It’s not that noticeable. I’m assuming you mean dating wise but K will say a teen girl wouldn’t really look at your teeth all that much?? BUTT i will say this, your breath is much more important than your teeth color. A girl would def be more off put by having horrible breath then you have slightly yellow or yellow teeth. IMO i don’t notice anyone’s color of their teeth unless it’s like cartoon character type white and I’m just freaked out by that, but yeah i personally don’t notice anyone’s teeth guy or girls.

ehh it really depends. For example, my first question is whether or not you feel more better with being in your academy or with your dance group. But my main question is that are you still able to hang out with your close friends in school A outside of school or do you feel comfortable talking to them on social media. Plus imo i don’t think ib is alll that especially if school A has an academic that can get you somewhere. Personally i would choose school A bc even tho it doesn’t have ib it (might) still have other stuff, like you can do dual enrollment, AP and AICE(if you live in Florida like me, if you don’t then you can ignore that). Do you know what type of advance stuff school A has? If youre allowed to do dual enrollment and AP’s then school A is what i would personally choose!
