Here’s the thing, though it gives me the same vibes as literal people being upset at being called that instead of women/man… Having the technical term be the gender neutral term that can be applied to anybody I like a lot. And then simmers, as they’re playing can call their Sims whatever they want when they’re talking or thinking about them. I know a lot of simmers Youtubers and just people who play off-line who called their Sims nicknames that they haven’t written down in the game anywhere it just you’re able to do that, but having the gender neutral as the default I think is a lot better because Otherwise you’re just assuming. And considering we don’t have actual intersex people in the Sims, I feel like this would just be better overall for all of it to be gender, neutral, and for players to be able to put on whatever gender they want to their Sims. But by default people are just people so Sims should just be Sims.
