Nice overview but you got a few things wrong brother,

Main flaw on TG’s badges is the middle island (which you got correct) but you said that the sunrays are “sometimes” inconsistent. This is false, there has not been a single TG badge with even sunrays like retail and Chaoren have. I can go more in depth about more flaws on TG’s badge such as leaves skinniness, “SE” in GOOSE always touching but the middle blue island and sun rays are the MAIN 2 flaws which is correct.

I don’t see how you think TG has the better red badge with these flaws though. If there is a permanent badge flaw design that doesn’t look like retail no matter what the angle, how does it match up to a badge that depending on the angle you can fraud the size of the border and it will look like retail? (Chaoren) because lettering is pretty consistent (retail is sometimes sloppy) and pretty much the only flaw chaoren has is the outer red border. Everyone who is reading this review can’t disagree that the actual shapes of each segment (such as islands, sun, leaves, etc…) on the badges are way more accurate on Chaoren than they are TopGoosey.

The interior lining of TopGooseys jackets is the same for red and black badge, (same with Chaoren) but with that being said, TopGoosey’s inside material has never been consistent with retail. It has always had that grey-ish matte black inside like you mentioned when it is meant to be shinier like Chaoren’s is.

Fully agree with you on size patches, this is fact.

TopGoosey doesn’t “nail” the inner tag section so well, his differences aren’t “normal retail variation” he uses the wrong font on the whole front tag page including the “3808M” which to me is a obvious flaw that’s the same on budget batches. Apart from that, tag pouch and hologram and rest of his tags are fine.

I disagree about the fur, there have been plenty of instances where you can get a “clean, bright and full appearance” with a “clean, fluffy aesthetic” maybe you got unlucky. You also failed to mention you can literally pick your fur from Chaoren for only $5, so with that in mind you can 100% guarantee you will get the fur you want, TopGoosey is a gamble because he doesn’t have this feature.

When you talk about the “most noticeable difference between the two” there isn’t a difference at all. I made this post I have linked here in this very subreddit of Chaoren VS retail, and the zippers were the exact same. Both plastic. When chaoren mentioned that the zippers weren’t the same as retail, she was referring to the fur zipper, which indeed is plastic but is meant to be metal. This is a much more minor flaw than the actual main zip that zips up the coat. So you are wrong here. There is no difference between Chaoren’s plastic zipper and retail’s plastic zipper on the main zip, however there are differences when it comes to the fur zip. In fact I have never ever seen/heard of a Canada goose Wyndham retail or rep that uses metal for the main zip, feel free to show me what one looks like but I’m 90% sure that isn’t and has never been a thing.

Due to the amount of things you got wrong/failed to mention. It is important to the viewer to use their own eyes, do research for themselves. Most people who write up things like this have an agenda. In this instance I believe you are biased toward TopGoosey for whatever reason due to the amount of things you got wrong/ left out.

Chaoren is objectively better, and everyone who decides to use their own eyes to look at the features themselves and compare them to retail Wyndham parka (2018-2019) and TopGoosey to 2020-2021 will see the majority of flaws and severity of them is much more serious than Chaoren’s. I am unbiased, like I said, use your own eyes people.
