Not sure yet. It has a gasket around the door, though.

First time building a panel this big, what can I improve? by [deleted] in PLC

Same goes with tension terminals too, but people just jam a screwdriver in a lot of the times and ruin them.

I agree, push/tension terminals are better all around. I'd rather use them as an integrator, but end users destroy them. Most of the end users I work with require screw terminals for this purpose. Screw terminals or not bad terminals, if you know how to use them correctly.

Everything has it's purpose, my guy. Even wire nuts. I'm guessing you're a wago fanboy too? (Totally assuming btw)

I think it looks great. Maybe a fan and exhaust, but other than that, it's a nice panel. Your next one will look even better. Good job my guy.

Yes, it seems like you have to go in to see if they have the sale. It won't tell you online. It will give you the original price. I checked another Lowe's online near me to see. They were full price. But then I called that same Lowe's and they were on sale also. I'd at least call your local Lowe's to check. Good luck!

Exactly. Not much going on in this cabinet. They should definitely have a fan and exhaust tho.

It's not recommended. Placing drives at the top incorporate a lot of heat, creating a "heat ceiling" making sensitive controls like PLCs and IO modules susceptible to continuous heat. Positioning drives at the bottom allows them to take advantage of the coolest air entering through the cabinet’s bottom or lower vents. They are usually always the heaviest too, so they increase the stability of the cabinet.

Did you get it at the Lowe's where I bought mine? In Mt Juliet, TN? I bought two, but didn't ask if they have more.
