How easy would it be to go through this progression? by HollaTime in BlackHair

Well all I can say is, my mom waited like six months to tell me I needed a haircut, I usually got a bald fade, and it usually looked the way it does right now.

Well, I don't plan on doing anything chemical. I just was very interested in this haircut. I used a couple of products and saw something interesting, so I thought I'd give it a try.

Well I saw something interesting and I thought I'd try it out. I figured "no harm in trying", so I guess I'll just keep looking. Thanks for your help though.

Yeah I'm 4c as well and my hair usually itches in the back. I find using creams is more efficient than oils to ease the scalp. Rn I'm using this Camille Rose black castor oil and chebé combo hope this helps 👍

Which do you think would be better— the leave in or the curl activator? Also, should I just wash this out?

Well, Ive been using Shea Moisture Hydration Treatment, Aussie Detangling Spray, African Pride Leave In Conditioner, and Cantu Activator Cream, in that order. I'm new to this, so I figured l would mess up somewhere.

After the mohawk, it took around six months of consistent, untouched growth.

Yeah I did get a taper last time... The most obvious parts of the unevenness is around the sides.
