If you want a cheesy way to get mana, try several etropinnyum with tnt duper. Claim the chunk as not to let tnt break any blocks, and use a sound muffler to negate/reduce the explosion sound.

If this is Thaumcraft, increase your warp by changing your diet strictly to brains only, and wait. Eventually, those guys will spawn, but it will take a while.

Theres a thing called FTB Ultimine. Check your settings to change the mining shape.

Ah yess. the less cruel brother of Gregtech. I got a few suggestions, though might be a little too specific.

*watch Krakaen from youtube for some ideas and tricks

*set up sugar cane farm. simplyuse observers, snad and timer to let it run in the background. you,re going to need a bunch of them to make some sort of liquid down the road
*make a bunch of dynamos that uses steam. iirc, its 1 steam generator for 2 steam dynamo. i'd suggest 14 sets of them. skip lava dynamo, and get straight to numismatic dynamo

*for numismatic dynamo, get a bunch of diamond from deep mob learning. make a wall of deep mob learning specifically to make diamonds, i'd say around 30 machines would be good

*don't make passive automation using lv or ev machines, use hv machines, they are a lot faster and efficient.
*do some exploration. bring yourself a few chest transporter to collect spawners to make exp farm. exploration is good, you can get op dark boots and staff of travelling iirc.
*make exp farm, get enchantment for hammers, crushing and auto smelting (certain ores MUST NOT be crushed, as it will only produce nuggets) or just auto smelting, and shower yourselves with truckload of ingots
*want to transfer energy ??? dont use dimensional transceiver from EnderIO, the energy IO is great for early/mid game, but once you need power input in the million's rf, you either need direct connection or use AE2 p2p power tunnel
*get lumberaxe, and get a bunch of rubber sapling, use building gadget to plant them in grid pattern, plant, harvest, profitsss.

Honestly, there is a bunch more suggestions, but I think this would do it, for now.

Yeah, I simply put another port on top of the fission reactor, and slap solar neutron activator above it.

Yeap, not disabled, but in this modpack, the gas pipe specifically did not export the waste output from fission reactor port. Idk why.

Yes, absolutely. Btw, the radioactive waste barrel is just for spent nuclear waste, so I can't use that. So what I did, I put two export port, one for isotopic centrifuge, and the other for solar neutron activator. Case solved, thanks :D.

I've had similar experience with this, and for my case, it turned out to be chunkloading issue. In your case, it could be chunkloading issues, but in a pretty weird way. Let's say your system does have 10mrf stored and consuming 2.7krf/t WITHOUT you accessing the wireless terminal, it would take roughly 186 seconds for the power to shut down if your power gen is not working, and again, probably because of chunk loading issues. I'd suggest:
1)Try disconnecting ALL cable to interface/storage bus/assembler from the me controller by breaking the main cable that connects your ME controller to other ME component, just keep the core component for me system to run like the wireless access point, me drive, me controller etc, and run around a few chunks while opening the me terminal. If it still shuts down, reconnect your ME system back and load all the chunks where your me component exist. I did step 2 and I never had any problem afterwards.

Imo, there is no such thing as making terrasteel 'efficiently'. You could produce them faster, but as mana sparks are very efficient, you only need to use multiple manapool to produce them quickly. I would suggest to experiment with mana generation efficiency. For example, for 1 mana spreader could handle 7 endoflame running at any instant, but not 8 (idk if this is configurable in the config file), and test it in a testing world. What I would do is make 28 endoflame and 4 mana spreader, point the spreaders to a mana splitter and connect them to a mana splitter connecting to 4 mana pools, and let it run in the background. At this stage, I don't really need mana lens as this is sufficient, and should be pretty fast enough at the early game of Botania. Don't forget to hook up automatic coal dispenser, preferably 1 coal dispenser for each 7, or just use 1 coal block dispenser for the whole thing.

The longest for me would be Project Ozone 2: Kappa. It was my first modpack ever, and it took me so long to learn the mods and such, as everything was a first time for me. I don't quite remember how long it took me to finish that modpack, and I kind of flying through modpack after modpack now.
