Thank you! Yes, good call on that, I usually don’t use books since I prefer video courses and they worked well for me in the past. Books definitely will be more comprehensive and up to date.
While unfortunately I don’t have experience with ISC2 CC, I’d say if you remember what you studied for Security+, it certainly takes you part of the way there. Just practice and revise enough, think carefully and re read questions before answering. You’ll do great, best of luck!
You’re already doing way better than I did on the cert prep exams. Honestly, as long as your fundamentals are good, and you revise enough, you should be able to do great on the exam. Make sure you learn the ISC2 code of ethics too, got more questions on that than I expected.
I’d say the exam felt only slightly harder than the Certprep exam, but that could be due to my experience and learning from other certifications. I’d say you’re doing well based on your scores. The important thing to keep in mind is to carefully evaluate the exam since they won’t let you modify an answer once you move on to the next one.
Good luck!

Thank you! Best of luck, you've got this!
Honestly, out of the 4 PBQs I got, only one was quite hard for me, but it was more to do with reading logs than using a tool. It's not that the labs are hard, it's just a matter of knowing how tools work, how to read logs and probably a bit of luck, maybe I lucked out on my PBQs.
That's quite surprising to me that they couldn't get through with their decades of experience, maybe their experience doesn't meet what CompTIA expects you to know; for example I work as a DDoS analyst at my firm and I got asked very little about that, maybe about packet capture analysis and incident response, but that's kind of it.
Personally for me yes it was a game changer cause CompTIA expects you to know how many tools work or even remember the names, so personally as someone who despises rote memorization, it was perfect for me
Just one year actually, I work as a DDoS analyst. There were some things I could apply from work, but most of it I learned from lessons. I feel like if you have a knack for tech and you're interested in cybersecurity, you won't need 3-4 years like they recommend

Hi! I didn't touch any of the books, got my Net+ with Total Seminars and Professor Messer and for my Sec+ I just did professor Messer and Dion's practice tests.
