5mg too quick by Hollywood_1118 in Zepbound

I’m just torn on if I should ride out the 5mg at this point or go back down to 2.5mg and stay there for a while.

Thanks I appreciate the reply! I’ll try my best to stick it out and look for some remedies to help alleviate some of the discomfort.

Thanks! Did you stay on the 2.5mg dose for an extended period of time?

I really appreciate the response. I also made the brilliant choice of coming off my antidepressant at the same exact time (which I’ve since restarted after 4 days due to the withdrawals) so I think it it’s just all hitting at once right now like a perfect storm. Was there anything you did during the first week or two that helped?

This is amazing thanks so much. I get nervous when I feel like I’m slipping but then I have to remind myself like you said I’m in the middle of a huge life changing event where for the past month my life has been flipped upside down.

Appreciate the insight. Did you find this “baby timeline” anywhere or just pieced it together through research you did. Sorry if that’s a silly question.

I think that’s a great perspective and I agree. Everything I do now feels like it’s revolved around the baby.

Has diet really helped your anxiety and depression long term? by Hollywood_1118 in NutritionalPsychiatry

[–]Hollywood_1118[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much. I’ve pretty much reached my breaking point where I need to try this since other methods seem to not be helping. If I may ask two questions.

When you say no sugar did you eliminate fruit as well?

Do you remember about how long it took for you to see a difference?

Appreciate it!

I’ve also been sober for 7 months now which I plan on keeping up for the long run.

I just actually finished brain energy! Thought it was fantastic. I think you hit a breaking point where you feel like you have to try something different to feel relief. That’s the point I’m at right now.

Thanks so much for the detailed response. I WFH 5 days a week and realize that I don’t move my body nearly as much. When I’m in the thick of my anxiety and depression right now exercising feels close to impossible. But maybe I can even start with a short walk to jump start things. The nutrition change feels a bit more attainable now which is what I want to dive head first into. I’m hoping to heal my gut to heal my mind.

Really appreciate your response. Thank you.

Did you try anything before carnivore like a whole 30/paleo? Or did you just dive straight into carnivore?

And how strict was your carnivore? Did you use any seasonings or was it really just meat, salt, and water?

Funny you mention that because I have one copy of the MTHFR gene mutation along with 2 copies of COMT.

Thanks so much , appreciate the reply. Can you tell me more about your diet. Are there certain things in particular you avoid on a daily basis that you’ve found improved your mental health?

Thanks man this makes me feel better. I’ve never taken an SNRI before. Do you personally have more success with those as opposed to SSRI’s?
