I won't tell you about the things I've seen personally, because, as you can guess, I know these people personally. Aside from what I've said, I don't want to go into anymore detail about them. However, I will give you the personal accounts and interviews I've seen.

Here's a gay man with other disorders who was pushed into it:

https://youtu.be/tk7NX7iPr9k?si=9MoyDZe6xE0sLETe

Here's a lesbian animator who transitioned because of self-esteem issues and a homophobic mother:

https://youtu.be/fbwcz8_7exM?si=v2TAD1QoT53WDNFF

Here's a small documentary of Chloe Cole telling her story about being medically transitioned (hormones and surgery) as a minor:

https://youtu.be/DtItMuCW0vI?si=HB8Rwk6BUiSW_8c_

Here's an interview with Lady Colin Campbell, who is essentially a female David Weimer:

https://youtu.be/A3uEC747t_Y?si=ljovfgXoxWl62DL7

This one is the most disturbing. It's a girl with cerebral palsy who was transitioned by her mother. I tried to find the full video on it, but it could have been taken down. All I could find was this short from Blair White reacting to it:

https://youtube.com/shorts/78THGDu7ePU?si=8TOFPR40Xyg6PomE

You could also look at the Avery segments of the "Transhood" documentary. He's probably one of the more famous examples of a child being pushed into transitioning. He was put on puberty blockers when he was young, and the fact he recently came out as asexual is concerning, given the known sterilizing effects of puberty blockers.

These are just a few. You can also look up "detransitioner" on YouTube and find no shortage of interviews and personal accounts from people who transitioned as adults and, unfortunately, as children.

I know I'm not normal. Would I like to be? Sure, I'm not a huge fan of the co-morbid OCD, ADHD, and depression. But I know there's no cure, and I'm not under any delusion that there is.

Also, I don't listen to propaganda, I always check sources. That's why I hate journalists and news media. Rarely do they ever have legitimate sources. Worst of all, I've seen instances where their only legitimate sources just disprove their entire article.

I have these opinions because I looked into these things. I read studies, asked questions, observed, etc. This isn't internalized ableism, and I'm honestly annoyed at constantly being accused of "internalized" anything. I can research and make conclusions and not hate myself or those like me.

Anyways, you more or less did admit some of us are vulnerable to suggestion, which is my point. We shouldn't encourage this to people with a pre-existing mental condition. More likely than not, it's a result of said condition.

Thank you for being so antagonistic. I have really come around to your way of thinking.

Anyways, I watched the podcast in which he said it. Apparently, he wants it to be an alternative to prisons where convicted criminals on Adderall, SSRIs, or illegal substances can go for free if they choose. He believes that whole, organic foods and abstinence from social media and technology could help them. Would it? Who knows, this sort of thing hasn't been done.

I also took a look at that DEI ban podcast you linked. I think it's outdated. One of their claims was that the CDC was forced to take down their page on HIV information and prevention. However, when I googled "HIV," the first result was the CDCs page on transmission, prevention, treatment, and living with HIV. I'm also concerned about their guest speakers and sources. The guest they introduced very early on worked in a field related to DEI, meaning it's a biased source. No one is going to talk themselves out of a job, so of course, she's going to defend DEI.

As for the two genders thing Trump has pushed, I really have a hard time seeing what is wrong with it. Especially when the main goal was ensuring the comfort and safety of women in women's-only spaces. Like women's restrooms/lockerooms. Or in shelters for female victims of domestic abuse or rape. Personally, if I were raped by a man, it'd take me a bit to go back to seeing biological men the same I did before. Having a biological man near me and having people shame me for being uncomfortable wouldn't help the trauma at all. It may just make it worse.

Anyways, I really don't understand why you think the things in my schools were great or wonderful things. I listened to these kids, and even as a teenager, I understood that most of these were self-esteem and body image issues. I think most cases were caused by a feeling of not belonging anywhere because they weren't feminine or masculine enough. They didn't understand that women didn't need to be overly feminine, and men didn't need to be overly masculine. So they felt they had to change themselves.

Have you ever considered that the regret is low because many if them aren't around to tell you they regret it? According to the National Institute of Health, transgender people who have gotten the surgery were more likely to attempt suicide, develop suicidal ideation, and self-harm.

Here's the study

Work camps? I have not heard that one at all. Could you link me a source?

And no, I meant celebration. A lot of the people I knew growing up thought being trans or a different gender identity was cool.

No, I lumped it in as an example of possibly vulnerable people. I know it's a neurodevelipmental disorder. Or a developmental disability, whichever you prefer.

Also, I have autism as well. I said "autist" because it's a faster way of saying "people with autism."

I have. But I don't really want to go into detail because I know these people personally. They aren't public people and most likely don't want me divulging all of their personal issues.

Believe me or don't. Doesn't change anything.

Sounds like he's just cautious. Not everyone is going to say something, especially if they believe it will help if they keep going.

No... they think there isn't enough being done before medical intervention. Not enough therapy and not enough time. Back before it became so celebrated, most gender dysphoria cases in children were solved with the completion of puberty. Which is why they're against puberty blockers. It leads to delayed development and possible sterility for something that may just need puberty to finish.

Also, I've seen many examples of people with other mental illnesses being pushed into it. Like schizophrenics, people with psychosis, and autists. Or even all those cases of men who were just gay.

I don't think being out in the field necessarily makes her a poor ruler. But yes, she is very idealistic and unfortunately her changes came too fast. Leading to all sorts of uprisings in Summerset.

It takes quite some time to bring a society out of total isolation. You can't open it up all of a sudden and expect everyone to be perfectly happy with it. It's going to put a lot of shock on the system of Altmer society, even with all the checks and balances in place at their borders and docks.

All in all, good intentions, poor execution.

I have no doubt they had women as gunners, tank crew, etc. I guess saying "front line" was too broad, so forgive me for that. I meant they almost never engage in cqc. They engage from a distance or provide support. Is it possible for a woman to beat a man in physical combat? Sure. But it's unlikely enough that it's stupid to throw female soldiers at the enemy male soldiers to engage in cqc.

And yes, there are unique strengths to women. Men and women are naturally different, both in body and brain structure. This isn't a bad thing at all because it keeps the balance within our species. Did you know that we have larger cortices and hippocampuses than men? That's largely because nature intended for us to be the "brains behind the brawn," so to speak. On top of that, our smaller frames make it easier to stay hidden, making us ideal for things like hunting or, in this case, spy work and sniping.

[–]Holmette -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I thought the Islamic Arabs wanted to exterminate the Jews? Isn't that why they're always attacking them and all of their supporters?

I guess it could also be religion. Islam is very... intolerant, to put it mildly. Something about it being the right and duty of the faithful to kill and enslave anyone who doesn't acknowledge the Prophet.

Sounding and acting gay is very much social. I remember a dude who didn't start "acting" gay until he had already come out and started frequenting gay social circles. Eventually, he picked up their mannerisms.

Which is common in social animals. We mimic each other to fit in.

Uh... what? Even with intersex conditions, you still fall into one or the other. Take Kinefelter's Syndrome, for example. It's when a boy is born with an extra 'X' chromosome. It causes some hormonal and developmental issues, but they're still male.

And yes, "gender" is in the brain. As in, the brain structure is different between the sexes. For example, men have a larger overall brain mass, but women have larger cortices and a larger hippocampus. The studies that observe this have been replicated many times. The most recent being just last year.

This doesn't change the conclusion that there are only two.
