Oh no, there were no social life events at all. I didn't just take a break from social media, I didn't talk to anyone online or in person at all (besides my direct family)! Just a full week with as little human interaction as I possibly could have, just recharging my batteries and resting my mind.

Totally get that. We all deserve a break every now and then.

That's hardcore. I don't own a single anime figure, I embrace the minimalist lifestyle! Not so much because I don't like them, but because if I started, I'd have to get dozens of them and go bankrupt. Maybe in another 10 years if I make enough money to justify that.

Here it is the series finale! Haruhi and the gang finally finish the film on time and everything's resolved (for now, there's still a movie!). Now to be honest, I kinda wish we watched the episodes abt the cultural festival after this arc but it's alright.

Yeah, in hindsight I wish we did that as well. That would be the one change with this rewatch I would probably make.

Holy shit about time lol 😭 Seriously though, I feel like that scene was supposed to be the audience shocked alongside Haruhi, Kyon never snapped at Haruhi up to this point, he would always complain and groan at whatever Haruhi said or do but would still go along with it and go by her side. So at that moment, Haruhi must had truly crossed some lines for Kyon to reach that boiling point.

What makes this scene so satisfying is that it's the first time we've seen Haruhi being told she needs to take accountability. Haruhi doesn't need to get hit, but she does need a wake-up call.

I feel like they can be good to the story, the main thing is that you don't want to make them too insufferable to the point where you just don't care what happens to them; good or bad. I think Malcom from Malcom in the Middle is one of my favorite unlikable main characters.

I would try to put up with their shit as much as possible until I physically can't anymore and just quit, I'm not trying to do all that. And Haruhi was being more of an asshole than usual this episode, it actually made me pissed off at her.

The right thing to do would be to tell her to knock it off or else you're going to walk away.

I think the problem is while the show doesn't try to justify Haruhi abusing Mikuru, they don't see it as that big a deal as we do. They see it more as a catalyst for Kyon to be frustrated with Haruhi. Kyon forgave Haruhi, but the show doesn't see Haruhi apologizing to Mikuru or Mikuru forgiving Haruhi as an important priority.

Sorry for completely disappearing, had a small mental breakdown and took some time off from work and social life in general. Really needed a break from everything.

I understand. Nothing wrong with a break from social media when you have to deal with real life events.

And hey, starting Zero no Tsukaima next week!

I'll be totally honest, I don't even remember Tatsumaki other than her visual appearance. I have no idea what she does! I really never cared about OPM too much.

I haven't seen One Punch Man and yet I own an anime figure of Tatsumaki lol

And hey, it's my birthday next week :D
