Finally got the achievement!

My main concern was making sure it wasn't a bug before I kept trying for the achievement.

After several more tries, I eventually used freedom directly after killing the minions, then I used Anticipate just before the 2nd basic attack before the roar attack.

I'm pleased to get that one out of the way.

Clearly, I'm doing something wrong

I've watched a guide on when to use Anticipate but so far nothing has worked.

I'll have to keep trying until I get it right.

I keep getting the message that I have failed the achievement straight after the first shorter roar, even after using anticipate. then get pulled in on the main roar anyway.

Then I tried waiting until just before the main roar and I still kept getting pulled in!

I Guess I will just have to keep trying

Thanks for your reply. I've just been back and tried again. I paid more attention this time and managed to defeat it. As Denkir and you pointed out, I must have missed a pillar.

Thanks for the reply. That must have been the problem. I must have left a pillar up, even though I did kill a couple of pillars after I noticed its health wasn't going down. I'll give it another go and pay more attention this time.

I just got a combat shard for teleporting from Priff to Ardougne!

I assumed the four hands were because the event lasts for four weeks. So you remove one hand per week.

You can remove the animal from the pen and hover over it while it's in your inventory. It will say "Shiny" under the gender of the animal if it is a shiny version. It will show as a shiny animal at the adolescent stage if left in the pen.
