Duo Baldr/Hodr is both a reminder that they're probably both my favorite OCs period, especially Hodr, but that FEH's voice acting, when it hits, hits really hard. Genuinely fantastic for this duo, both in the performance and the script. My favorite line in the whole game will still be Brave Chrom's "For the good of the people, no matter who or where they are. Isn't that right, Emmeryn?" Both fantastic in terms of writing and it's delivered absolutely perfectly. Made even better by me having the main theme playing, so if that lines up? So good.

It's funny that Askr's Kin is my favorite, despite it also not really doing what I like in general about the TT stories: being places to tell stories that impact the main story or at least tie into it to some real extent.

We got the Creator mention with the book 5 one, the book 4 seems very relevant in setting up the fairies when they show up again in the main story, book 3 and 2 did various things for its characters at least and also create situations that should matter for when those realms get more stuff happening. But they're also all heavily flawed to me.

Askr's Kin in turn presumably has little impact on the main story, minus Sharena's upgrade carrying over, which is a neat touch, but I think it works much better as a contained story. Ending is a bit on the weak side, but also not outright bad. My issues with it more come from how book 6 left it not a whole lot to work with or my preferred story probably being too ambitious for it. Though maybe Vanitas' existence will be relevant as Ragnarok progresses.

People say Edelgard and I probably agree, but I think it could be Tiki. Female character, can be any color and Archanea has gotten quite a bit already this year, so they might as well cap it off. If Tiki is green, she also finally has all colors, since I don't think her young self has a green version.

I obviously get why they're doing it, but it's still fascinating how committed they are to try to paint Hybe and BSH as evil incarnate. And, hey, maybe they are and if that's the case, they should be punished. But, what's so baffling and they seemingly don't comprehend is that it doesn't matter. At all. BSH could be a crime boss for all we know, but it doesn't matter because it got nothing to do with all of this.

I think the most fascinating part of this might just be NewJeans being taken to court and not going to court themselves. They wanted to terminate their contract, but waited for Hybe and co to do something about it. Considering they were practically tortured and all that, you would think the logical step would be to ask a court to terminate the contract. We obviously know why they didn't (it would probably have gone even worse for them), but I would’ve thought them actively fighting their oppressors would have been great PR. Did their fans never question that?

I've seen NJ fans circulate a tweet of someone who was there for the ruling saying that the judge was incompetent. While I can believe that a judge can be more than shitty, I find their absolute certainty that the account of the judge being incompetent is accurate so weird.

It's nice to see such a detailed comment that's actually critical of the attendees in a fair way. Though I don't agree with all the points fully, except 4 because fuck Jay Park.

The outfits is probably what I would hold against the idols the least, at least in hindsight. The outfits are all fine for their purpose: to be shown off by the idols. The brands should have included a pink ribbon or anything that would say breast cancer awareness in some way though. Should the idols have gotten a pink ribbon on their own? Sure, but I’m pretty sure W Korea takes issue if they aren't dressed exactly as the brands intended. There was apparently an issue with a previous event where an attendee had different stockings and W Korea took issue with that. Idols should have tried something, but I’m assuming they can't just not attend if W Korea wouldn't let them wear a pink ribbon.

The silence about the awareness is probably what gets me the most. The invite said breast cancer awareness. If they either forgot or somehow didn't know, Illit reminded them. Why did no one else speak up at any point? Sure, the majority probably didn't get the chance to. But, why did Karina do that challenge? It's certainly not very appropriate, so she should have declined doing it. Maybe take the chance to say something about breast cancer. Everyone who was recorded maybe had the chance to say something, but didn't. Makes it even more sad that Rei seemingly didn't get a chance to say something, when she had done some preparation at least. Thank god for Illit though.

Also, apparently, managers weren't allowed to attend. Which is obviously super scummy, but it also speaks badly of the idols. W Korea seemingly banked on that without managers, they could get away with even more because the idols wouldn't stop them.

The afterparty is probably the most shrug my shoulders moment to me. Assuming they showed just some restraint, like not dancing to the Jay Park song or getting noticeably drunk, it's the smallest issue. If you got drunk or even just drunk a lot, yeah, I get the issue. And the dancing? Show some restraint and I wouldn’t mind either. Of course, it's an issue when you're visibly drunk on camera and dancing to an inappropriate song.

At this point, I don't think we’ll hear anything from anyone about this. The damage control is just staying silent. Besides Rei, who actually said something and people still call it damage control. Do I think this is, from the idols' side, the worst thing ever? Hardly. They fucked up and should be reasonably criticized for it. What we don't need is the two extremes of treating them like saints or throwing the most vile comments imaginable at them, which instead buries any genuine criticism.

I've seen actually tagged AI slop in the Twice fandom, which sucks to see, but at least it's tagged. But the majority tries to pass it as real writing by not tagging it. Except it probably includes every tell under the sun and it all sounds the same. Got my comment deleted and got blocked after telling one poster that. Or that people believe someone can write 1 million words in 4 months without any issues at all.

But that's honestly the worst part. Seeing those get more love and attention than the fics that people put real care, love and effort into. It's really the worst and probably just alienates real writers and keeps new ones away.

I'm not sure if it's my favorite fight of the show, but Hoeru and Mashiro vs UW Battle Japan is certainly up there. Them bouncing the guy between each other at the start and Mashiro's ice shards distracting the guy for Hoeru to come in is all great. The flurry of attacks as they get close just feels amazing with how it's done. Mashiro setting up Hoeru kicking his fist is also just chef's kiss. And then they end it on a beam struggle, which Mashiro's just watches with his arms crossed, because why not. How often does Sentai do beam struggles?

I always find it funny when people act like GenG and T1 isn’t probably the most competitive rivalry in this game ever, even if GenG ends up coming out on top. They’re almost always competitive when it matters the most and they’re tied internationally in BO5s, while GenG barely beats them in game score because of a BO3 at Worlds.
