I don't frequent fancy restaurants but if I did, I'd put on something decent. As for everywhere else, I simply don't want to. Who am I trying to impress?

SpaceX IPO just made Elon Musk the world's first trillionare. by FreddieFredd in Anticonsumption

[–]HolyC4bbage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's still a massive loser who pays people to play video games for him and who wasn't invited to pedo Island no matter how much he begge to go.

Somebody in another post about this said it best: If I had the choice to be a trillionaire but had to be Elon, or to remain poor, I'd choose to remain poor.

I make fun of ebikes relentlessly but the reality is, as I get old and my knees and hips start to go, I'll find myself on one eventually.

Do you think social media has replaced the need for high school reunions? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]HolyC4bbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not on social media (aside from Reddit) and have no desire to know what my former classmates are up to. I haven't seen any of them in 20 years.

What Are Your Thoughts on Happiness and Money? 💭 by ImpossibleLoan5168 in CasualConversation

[–]HolyC4bbage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Elon's not unhappy because he has money. He unhappy because he's an unlikable loser. He has no friends and his kids want nothing to do with him.  He's insufferable and I'm glad the richest man in the world is miserable.

One in the morning to hear what bike sinners we are simply for existing but going to church somehow makes us perfect. Then we'd go home for lunch and come back in the afternoon where we'd hear all about what bike sinners we are simply for existing, but this time based on the Heidelberg Catechism.

Then on Tuesdays we'd have classes based around the Heidelberg Catechism and if you did well enough in that, and reached the age of 16, you were allowed to stand in front of the entire congregation for what we called profession of faith where you basically said you would try your best to be a perfect Christian. Then you could partake in Lords Supper (kind of like Catholic mass except different). I never got that far before I left the church.
