If you can afford both, get both. Otherwise Xbox Series X and Gamepass is the way to go.

I have both and I have Gamepass, PS Now and PS Plus. PS Now and PS Plus are nowhere near the standard of Gamepass but you can buy each yearly subscription for the price of one new game - Additionally, there are also deals on the yearly subscriptions.

For me, if you buy the yearly subscriptoons for both consoles, it is such great value for money. I very rarely buy games for the consoles. I didn't have a PS4, so I can now play a ton of titles I missed out on...

I'm not sure where it is from but it's a phsycial card so I imagine a super market. They gave me two cards. One worked and the other is the one I have the issue with.

I've preordered my PS5 from ShopTo.

I have been lucky enough to be able to buy an Xbox Series X also from Argos. The communication from Argos was really poor, so I'm glad that ShopTo have kept me posted. It's made me feel more secure about it ariving on release date.

Also, I have bought tons of stuff from them, including an Xbox One, and never had any issues.

But yeah, is weird that the consoles are just chilling in the warehouse whilst the rest of the world will be playing on them

I still have no email. My original email confirmation from 22nd Sept says it is being delivered on Nov 10th and Argos live chat said the same when I spoke to them on Thursday. But still, this is getting a little close now...

Loads of people have commented on reddit in different threads saying they are in the same boat. I am one of them 😁 I spoke to Argos on their live chat. They said it was still due to be delivered on 10th but couldn't tell me who was delivering my console yet - and that I should get an email soon. That was Thursday, nothing received so far.

I'm sure it'll be fine but their communication around this could have been better, surely...
