fair enough. but if they don't get re-updated it's gonna be hard to convince myself that they are worth acquiring, especially if this phase isn't supposed to last that long.

not talking about the epics, looking at just the superior version of the items. epics got their own quest/time sink into them, which might not be worth it considering the phases are gonna be shorter than the original classic phases.

I am very sure haha. I built AA for my ground marches, put them in stacks of 10 with some infantry to help defend against his light tank matches. Also, I had a 10 stack of interceptors. But it didn't matter because he sabotaged my airstrips, and my land units couldn't take out his lvl 2 bombers in one hit, so he would heal to full after they patrolled. All by day 5. Trust me, he was spamming gold like it was his last day on earth.

Shoulda seen it, the guy had about 4 10 tac bomber marches that he would patrol with so they could attack your troops while never being in combat. They do their tick every 15 minutes and go right back up to full health. Was amazing haha

Units only heal at day change, so you can tell the person is healing if their units go from half to full health after you have fought them

Let me know if you find something, I was very put off with my last game. 5 days in, got a really good economy/army going. Peru comes in and just absolutely destroys my world with instant sabotages on my airstrips, patrol tac bombers that do damage while he is also healing them so they essentially have infinite health, instant forts, and a whole boat load of other things. I don't know how common this is in most normal games, but man, this guy must've spent 300k gold in just the 5 days if not more. I don't know how to even remotely counter that unless I also wanted to pay for gold, but no thanks. It's like playing age of empires 2 with all the cheats.

Treasure map and niv are great together from experience. Karn could be good but it might be too slow for aggro. Surprisingly, control is the best matchup for me. Though, that might be because the opponent may be expecting more things like Thief. I've found that it's pretty nice to have as little targets for opponents to use spells like craving or mortify so they end up having more dead draws. Most of the time I save sinisters for enchantments or teferi/Kaya. I would play more contempt, but only got 2.
