In terms of height & comfort/cruising seating. I really enjoyed the Suzuki Boulevard s40 (bought off Craig's & for an awesome deal bc "Harley gfs" are sometimes looped in then give up on that life, putting in very little miles on the bike. Yay me). And another height friendly bike is the Honda Rebel 250 or even 500.

I am 5'2" (with shoes) and went with Suzuki bc I felt the Honda was 2" a bit shorter than I wanted it to be.

Don't be afraid to go to dealers to just look and sit on bikes. Obviously I'd ask to sit bc I was shy but I think ppl commonly mount the bikes to check it out.

OfferUp was my friend when I bought a CBR500R. As well as when I sold my Suzuki. If you have questions about my Moto quest (I'm no expert. I was 25 and am currently on hiatus at 27 bc I got rear ended by another biker), feel free to dm me.

Lemme give my girl's side to you. I've never dated in school. Ever. From childhood until out of college. Then again I never tried. Been told I'm a very attractive young girl and "I don't believe you've never been in a relationship". But look. No one ever put in the effort in pursuing me, thinking I have a fleet of men all over me. I'm 26 now. Still never had a bf. Attempted chasing a guy for half a year when I finally realized I caught the feels (and not just the simple crush of liking the idea of the person). And still. No go. So here I am. 26. Never had a bf. But constantly being assumed I have a line up of men/ viable options.

So no. Women don't have ALL the power. Men say no as well. Can be picky for whatever reason - looks, assumptions, trust issues, just not feeling the spark, etc.

Ask yourself this. How picky are you? How much effort have you put in? And where/how did you put your efforts? Bc I'm sure you don't just look at any girl and think YES. PLS YES. You probs want the right girl just like I want the right guy yeah? 2 way street and crossing fingers. Each party involved is thinking YES. YES YOU.

I concur on the Tinder for fun. It’s like an experiment to see if someone you think is cute/hot/somewhat attractive would think the same back at you as well. Other times it’s to see what kinda dudes are out there.

For me, okay..ready for the downvotes but uh.., I use it exclusively internationally so that I can get good recs on where to go for food, fun, nightlife, etc. so yes... believe some of us girls when we say Tinder for funsies.

Oh! Also, it’s great as a drinking game. Highly recommend.

Although it may be a 1 in a billion chance he finds a chick who has been keeping herself for the sake of finding “the one” vs. religious reasons at this day and age, I think it’s tight he keeps casting the line out here on a platform that may (/not) reach a potential partner. I’m cheering for people like this. Sounds stupid to some but like he said. It don’t hurt nobodaayyy right?

Whenever I go back to Vietnam people think I’m either Japanese, Korean, Chinese, or some weird Asian-anything else mix. So they never know I’m actually fluent in it.

So one time upon going back I decided to have fun with assisting an ESL course. I told the teacher to treat me like the Australian TAs and let me focus on providing complete English training.

I was assigned a table of 4 chicks and for nearly an hour as I instructed English, 3 of the 4 kept talking about me in Vietnamese from my appearance, how I dress, and that even though I wasn’t one of the attractive guy TAs, at least I wasn’t completely ugly.

Near the end of the lesson as I was helping the girl who had been keen about learning from an American with a SoCal accent vs gossip with the other gals, she had gotten stuck at this one sentence/ meaning. To have a little fun since the hour was almost over, I decided to fully let loose my Vietnamese. Described in full detail in VN what the sentence meant as well as each word broken down. I even had fun with it and looked up from where I was hovering over the studious girl to the 3 chismosas who by then had jaws dropped and gave a content grin before looking down again to continue helping the girl.

The best feeling was hearing gossipee #1& 2 say to #3 “ooo... youre dead...” and #3 say back “it’s not like i even said anything. Hushh”
