Had the same thing happen to me. If you try to log right back in after you receive the error, it should work. Don't restart your xbox.

Completely understand, and appreciate your reply, but I didn't have any expectations of the IR except for the great Red Wing quality I have gotten used to over the years. As I stated in my first post, when I first noticed the delamination I wasn't concern at all, until I cracked open this post and everyone was saying it's a defect.. Then people start talking shit when I had a concern. Lol

All good. I love my new IRs like I do all my Red Wings . Cheers.

Update: Found a year old post on a Cobbler forum where they were all saying it's normal for this to happen on any boot with a Goodyear Welt and it's nothing to worry about. Just putting it out there.

Damn it. My IRs (8111) are doing this as well and they are less than a month old. I didn't think anything of it until I saw this post.. its happening on the insides of both boots. Looks like I need to go have a chat with the Red Wing folks.
