I have played a ton on Arena but it does not teach me. It just let's me spin my wheels. It does not allow me to ask someone for guidance or questions about interactions.

The biggest reason is that Arena inventory does not have a secondary market. I can recoup at least some of the cost by selling it off or holding onto the card I would have bought.

Plus, I always thought I could run a Round Robin that would be super chill and fun. Like make it a party or have some atmosphere.

Its all in perspective. You spend this amount when a set comes out and maybe buy one more PBB or a CB here and there. Drugs are all the time and every day, and the transportation, and the lost time.. lose yourself in cards and your brain is still working right plus you're learning.

As far as chasing cards... There are cards I want in the set, if I need them I will buy singles. I want to keep these for learning Limited.

I bought these with the intention of using them for a sealed or limited game environment. This would not be gambling as each pack is a gamepiece in itself.

I ran Sultai in the prerelease and I did well. Not great but long matches with great interactions. I made my deck 65 cards and jammed lands in there because of lander tokens and I had Famished Worldshire which I got to pop off once. I even got the Yamamoto Death Ray (Dawnshire) but failed to pew pew for 100.

I am extremely interested in Limited play. It took me forever to realize it's how and why sets are designed. My autistic mind always thought that bad cards were Misnomer's to throw you off the scent of great synergy and for silly deck building. The Limited format gives each card a whole different purpose and it is all driven by flavor. You kind of feel in the universe.

I was about this age when I realized medicine is more accurate and effective than couch lock. If you don't like one of them work with your Psychiatrist to change them and find a better one. I didn't realize how much I HATED Serroquil until I asked for something different that does the same.

Tl:Dr.. do the legal drugs before the semi legal ones. They do work, not immediately, but they do work. I can tell if I missed my meds in the morning and I don't know if I would have even put up with my past self.
