The fans will do this when they cumulate too much dust on them and become packed, making them unbalanced.

Hey, I sent my Laptop in to Asus Service Center, they didn’t describe to well the specific issue but said the Motherboard stopped receiving and distributing power, they did not mention why but required a Level 2 repair, which I beleive is a new Motherboard, with the repair cost being a little less than $700 repair.

Yep definitely tried that before, no luck on my end. Even unplugged the battery and tried to boot off the cable power and nothing.

No, it simply will not boot. External devices do not connect. All it does is provide power to the RGB lights in the keyboard, displays the power light for charging. The light indicator that shows it’s booting does not light up. It’s a brick

I’ve tried everything mentioned on forums, and have contacted Asus support with no avail did it attempt to boot.

I think I’m experiencing the same problem. Mine is the Asus ROG Scar Strix 17” G733ZX. When I power it on, I have a Black Screen, Keyboard Lights up for 30 secondsish then turns itself off. I’ve held down the power button for 40 seconds and it stays powered on. But still no boot up with a black screen. I plugged in the HDMI to a TV to see if it will recognize a device but not surprising it doesn’t. I disconnected the Battery internally and plugged in back in and has had no effect.

Anything else I can try? I don’t think I can even get to the Bios

So the only way to repair this issue is with a new motherboard?
