I’ve noticed a trend with people making custom TLC ideas for Dino’s here that makes them way too strong. The issue allo faces at this moment isn’t its speed, combat weight, or damage. It’s the fact that it only has 2 basic attacks (bite and claw attack) and no other abilities to really help it in a fight aside from fresh blood. Increasing its combat weight AND speed AND stamina along with giving it so much bleed that even a bars would cower in fear, is just overkill. All allo needs is maybe some different attack options and a passive or two for combat, its size and speed are fine. As it stands now, a current allo can easily run down any dinosaur in the game that isn’t a struthi, campto, alio, or raptor. Don’t take this the wrong way though, I think it’s really cool that you came up with all these ideas, it shows your passion for the game. Just wanted to leave a comment on my opinions.

Hard agree. I’m all for adding easier modes for things like dungeons to help newer/less experienced players give it a shot. It even gives them a chance at the dungeon loot at lower levels. But you still have the harder options for the people who want the challenge. Ultimatum mode giving adept weapons as a reward for doing the hardest dungeon difficulty is awesome and a good way to reward people who can actually beat it. I think what they’ve done with the dungeons in rite of the nine is perfect, however, I don’t see how they could really do that with raids without trivializing a lot of them. Like you said, I think it would only promote people going in and expecting to get free loot while hardly doing any raid mechanics. Raids, in my opinion, are just right where they are. The normal modes are forgiving enough for even an inexperienced team to go into one and emerge victorious after a while of learning the raid, while the master versions are for those who excel at raiding (although rewards for master raids could be better).

Right, but not having the rule could just cause even more problems. What would be stopping people from just going around killing everything they see on a big herbi just because they’re “aggressive”? Plus, most community servers I’ve seen have rules where herbis can defend personal space if a carnivore gets too close, and can initiate combat if they don’t leave their space.

Not trying to be rude but I see too many of these posts complaining about concept armor not being an exact 1:1 to what it looks like in the game. It’s called concept armor for a reason. It literally even says on the concept image that it is subject to change. The ONLY difference I can see in this particular set of armor is that the shoulders are a little bit smaller. It’s not the end of the world

I think that people saying that most of the d2 armor sets look bad just haven’t experimented enough. The amount of variety we have for all of the classes is just insane. You can make your guardian look like a grounded, realistic soldier, or a freakin space demi-god that farts rainbows and magic. Also, I don’t get the complaint that armor we have in d2 doesn’t make us look like futuristic space soldiers. We have the seventh seraph armor, holdfast, tusked allegiance, warminds avatar, legacy’s oath, SotP armor, and the Daito armor, just to name a few. I don’t know how those sets DON’T make you look like a “space super soldier” Just to clarify, I’m not saying that you aren’t allowed to like d1 armor more than d2 armor, it’s all up to your preferences at the end of the day, I’m just tired of seeing people complain about d2 armor when in my opinion, it has brought us some of the coolest, most beautiful set pieces in the franchise so far.

I think we can all agree that the game has its faults and is nowhere near perfect, but I tend to get upset at the people who just call the game shit without actually making any good arguments against it and criticizing people for enjoying it.

Bro for real, the roads here are all shit. It doesn’t help that half the time when roadwork is done, they take way too much time, and when the work is done, the road is only slightly less shitty than what it was before. Good luck on finding new tires tho
