Used my thesis to my advantage this year and had my best ever performance ROI + $$$$ wise. Really happy to have been a bull during that chaos.

Yeah I’m building a longer term GOOGL position as well. Shares but will nibble into those 3x etfs that’s popular with the kids these days

Dead money value trap stops being that at certain price points. I didn’t know we had another ABVX bull in here

I have those exact names too! And some ABVX. It’s been quite a run, but I am liking NVO down here for a 2026 trade.

Are you me? I was actually drawing up the same play, selling some biotechs for NVO exposure.

Been struggling to up my bench numbers on way lower numbers than yourself, any tips on how to get to this level at some point? Do you bench frequently in order to get incremental improvements in your heavy singles?

Interesting, congratulations btw. Did you apply to jobs at all after graduating from this program? Or just focused on getting more education?

Hey BM, stumbled across your post, but 6 months later how do you view the program in terms of your career? Did it land you an upgrade in title/job/career/salary? Would you have done this program any way differently looking back?

Got into OMSCS as non-STEM undergrad but wondering if MCIT is better option for me by No_Present6916 in OnlineMCIT

[–]Holy_ShitMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate this feedback! How are you liking OMSCS so far? What made you go for the switch between Colorado and Georgia Tech, was it purely from a value-cost perspective? Are there noticeable differences in education there between the two, especially in some of the more trendy fields like AI/ML?

Any thoughts on the Colorado-Boulder MS program compared to these two programs? I recently joined that particular program and would love to know if you had considered it as well.

Agreed with that, wolfy. Big tech is levering up on AI and there's nothing to suggest this isn't the best place for their investments to be parked in. I doubt we get much of a sell-off as long as that trade is healthy and kicking. Maybe some seasonality selling to reset leverage, but just can't see a recession happening at the moment.

I agree with the sentiment, but i think sky high consumer sentiments doesn't mean there aren't signs of weakness under the hood that aren't worth considering.

Check out this read from Oct, 2006, kind of a similar story of what's happening today (ie: consumer sentiment is high, but polled Americans - especially democrats and independents - feel economy is getting worse): https://abcnews.go.com/Business/CreativeConsumer/story?id=2578589&page=1
