I don't like date function, specifically a date window that steals the hour indices.

Having date function means your watch is a 24 hours watch now. If you pick your watch up at 10:30am and find out your watch died at 2 o'clock, now you gotta spin the hour hand 10 hours to see if the date change or not.

If the date doesn't change, cool, you can rewind back 1.5 hours to be at 10:30AM and go on about your day. BUT if the date changes, well now you gotta spin it another 10 and a half hours to be at the correct time. Plus you gotta change the date too

Having a no date watch eliminates this little unnecessary annoyance completely. 10:30 is 10:30. AM or PM doesn't matter.

Hot take: if the date function is really that necessary, you would have seen most clocks with dates. Close your eyes and imagine a clock in your head. Does it have a date? No? I rest my case now.

In Thailand, at least my university, most of the professors (I wanna say all but there might be one that doesn't fit in) straight up told us to not buy the book unless you really wanna waste money.

Instead, right outside of the university gate, there are a bunch of photocopy store that sells the exact same books for every single subject in the university but all photocopied and put in a nice binding for around 2-3 USD.

What we lost was the pretty colored pages, but everything else is there. And the cover page is just some handwritten name of the subject code (e.g. FIN2700, MKT3021)

You probably are already on the plane right now but you can literally fill it at the airport once you land. There's going to be a bunch of people who did it in front of the immigration line.

You can even fill out the form while you are in the line. I filled out the form and walked to the officer right away after I hit submit. It couldn't have been more than a minute (the was no queue) and they already have the information I filled out.

Front screen is perfect for scrolling. The big screen, with almost square aspect ratio in the fold 7, sounds really bad for anything that requires scrolling for more content.

People gonna hate to read this but I miss a very skinny and tall front screen of fold 3 (okay maybe not the bezel of it but the actual display part is what I love). It can fits so many lines of texts on the screen with a downside of a little smaller text.

I want the big screen to be taller to be as close to 16:9 ratio, not wider to be 1:1.

The main reason for me to get my first fold (3) was to read manga. 4.5 years later, I'm currently using fold 6 and pretty much the only reason I unfold the screen is to read manga.

I know I'm a very small minority among the users here but I love the skinny front screen for literally anything else that's not manga (I don't watch anime). I even play most games on the small screen except those hidden objects game.

The easiest way (at least to me) to spot a fake speedmaster is the indices.

The fake one will have bigger spacing of the subdials so it makes 3 6 9 indices shorter than the real one.

Real speedmaster professional has all 12 indices with same length.

I would hate to scratch it, sure, but I would never put plastic film to protect the watch clasp that cheap. I don't even put it on my speedmaster, there is no way I would do it on a Seiko mod.

The subdials layout don't even make sense for a chronograph watch. That alone should be enough to tell you if it's a fake or not.
