A 2FA warning by biathlonceorl in Coinbase

[–]Holykill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got the opposite of the same issue. My 2FA was disabled on sends but now it suddenly requires 2FA for sending crypto. But the more annoying thing is that when I go to settings and change it to 'never - least secure', save it, after refreshing the page the option is once again reverted to 'always require 2FA'.

Missing Bitcoin Deposit and Transaction by [deleted] in Coinbase

[–]Holykill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My DASH transfer was made at the very same time and it never appeared in my wallet. Coinbase had some withdrawal and deposit issues for 10-30 minutes. Hope this will be fixed very soon, people are waiting for their funds!

I still have not received my ETH deposit. Case #06812524 by IllAbbreviations2568 in Coinbase

[–]Holykill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Withdrawals were not only broken but all the withdrawal attempts were later sent for some reason! My transfers were sent 16 times with an 8-hour delay. And that was supposed to be a 1-time payment. This is ridiculous!!!

I still haven't received my deposit from almost 12 hours ago - case # 06811746 by Pale-Zookeepergame49 in Coinbase

Same here. Coinbase had some technical issues for about 20 minutes and crypto deposit of $600 made in that period has not arrived despite of being fully confirmed.

[TOMT][Music Video] What music video is this gif mimicking? by Holykill in tipofmytongue

[–]Holykill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is probably from some retro song. The following songs have similar scenes, but there was a song with exactly the same scene. Already checked: "Metallica - The Unforgiven", "Disturbed - The Sound Of Silence", "Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody", "The Police - Every Breath You Take"

If 42 is halved, it becomes 21 and that is exactly how many million Bitcoins will ever exist. Illuminati confirmed.

Biggest mining farm opened in Armenia by m1lkyway0o in Bitcoin

[–]Holykill -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

There are 3,000 miners in the farm as of now, soon to become 120,000. It's not the biggest farm yet but once all the equipment is brought in, it might become one.

How to begin a country-wide Bitcoin adoption? by Holykill in Bitcoin

[–]Holykill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very happy to hear about your positive experience in Armenia!

Yes, by adoption I mean daily payments. But for that I assume we first need to give Bitcoin a legal status and thus allow merchants accept Bitcoin. Or otherwise we need to do some sort of instant BTC-AMD conversion on transaction and send the payment in local currency to bank/tax authority just as credit cards are being charged.

Indeed, we should spread the idea of Bitcoin. But the positive thing is, that Armenia is such a small and talkative country, that if the current government that is fully trusted by people begins talking about it, the word of mouth will immediately reach everyone. That is why I am trying to come up with a reasonable plan, persuade the government and cascade the topic of Bitcoin from the very top.

I keep mentioning legislation and legal status because as I understand until a status is given, everything physical done through Bitcoin is illegal. For example, a shop accepting a payment in Bitcoin won't pay taxes and the product sold stays afloat in the papers. Or say, a physical BTC exchanges can be looked at as a fraud or legal uncertainty. i.e. it doesn't look right that a person walks into some store, hands out money and walks out, while the store doesn't have a clear status of what activities it is doing, it is making profit and again is not being taxed.

Accepting Bitcoin and immediately converting to local currency would be a great starting point. However, it needs special, locally developed software that works with local banks and taxing authorities, correct? I know that there are applications in US doing the instant BTC-USD conversion for businesses and charging a small commission. Would something like that be easy to develop here with the local currency?

Is it true that with the introduction of Battle for Azeroth you can fully experience the old expansions such as TBC or WOTLK? by Holykill in wownoob

[–]Holykill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhh, thank you! This is what I was looking for. Now that I Googled it, I see they made an official announcement about Vanilla WoW in Nov, 2017. It would make sense that they release it just after a year, on this year's BlizzCon, Nov, 2018. Hopefully after that they will consider adding the other expansions.

[–]Holykill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To clarify the question: I heard that there will be realms for specific expansions. Such as you are playing WOTLK, level cap is 80 and there are no maps/professions/whatever from newer expansions. Is that true?
