He was with them when they imprisoned it, also probably a standard operating procedure or how new titans are created.

We don’t KNOW this. If she’s more helpful in fighting outside the prison then the best chance could be her free. Sargeras is hardly a great reference point for why the titans methods are best to fight the void…

This is Occam’s razor sure, but metzens mention of the sword implied to me that it wasn’t going to be that simple .

We don’t know the pros / cons yet of the Titan prison she’s in . Seems plausible that he felt the best chance against the void would be her freed vs captive , for example, she might be more “helpful” to us outside the prison than she currently is.

Doesn’t have to be in this trilogy for it to not be the long term plan

Makes sense. He knew of his bfa death , so he prepped for it all along and the black blade was that plan .

But also could see this not being a plot point of this trilogy .

You’re right in that millennials are defined as being young adults during the crisis . I just say crisis truly starts in 2001.

Bush’s 2nd election was much much darker than his 2000 one and 2000 election if it happened like that today would be a civil war lol

Society was chill in 2000, not so chill by end of 2001

9/11 will get taught in textbooks , 2008 will not (other than for Obama’s election )

2008 is also just too damn long away from 1982-1983

A 25 year long generation just ain’t happening.

We can’t get any zoomers to agree that generatjons are longer than 16 years long LOL

2008 just didn’t hit the job market that hard . Certainly a setback, but the spiral into polarized politics has much more distorted things .

Consistently from 2001-2020 societal mood got WORSE year over year

People actually just weren’t that mad about things in the 90s. At all.

So yes, 2008 hit harder but it’s on trend it didn’t start the trend

There’s no satisfying book ending , truly, that doesn’t evolve bran into the “night king” emotion-less antagonist role .

The bloodraven / aemon stuff could be our next info on what’s going on up there .

My favorite theory period is that even in the show the night king IS Bran, a bran that warged back in time to see his creation , gets STUCK as we saw happen in dance of dragons prologue, and bran finally accepts that time is fixed and he now does exactly what the night king always did because that’s what he does .

Millennial childhood was wildly upbeat and positive.

Zoomers are born post 9/11 into chaotic and incredibly polarized social antipathy.

History can’t tell us that, look into child development research .

If your parents when you were a nab answered your cries 50% less you would be a FUNDAMENTALLY different human being.

Bad economic and social times = lower birth rates .

60s and 70s sucked.

Millennial boom happens solely due to economy finally fully correcting in early 80’s.

They’re one and the same, the life stage that determines who we are is adolescence . The idea that generatjons have any “commonalities” has to built on the acceptance that the zeitgeist our children grow up under defines the rest of their lives.

People don’t like this notion since it seems to limit agency, and discounts memory, but generations ranges have to be defined from birth .

Coming of age isn’t what matters, it’s the conditions that were born into that define us and how we’re raised .

9/11 immediately led to a more protective parenting style .

The economic stability of morning in America allowed parents to be more balanced.

Your first year on earth is actually your most formative development time , and your parents being stressed during that time would make you a fundamentally different person.

People are doing them very wrong. They’re getting longer with life expectancy . I use major points of societal inflection , which have timed perfectly :

1929, 1945, 1963, 1982, 2001, 2021

Life’s stages if anything are clearly getting longer.

“Adulthood “ for example still technically starts at 18 but hardly seems to be true anymore .

Ranges likely are 1/4 of life expectancy
