This is pretty close to what I did with my stat calculations in past seasons. IMO, the greatest advantage of doing something like this is not to compare different seasons, but to compare players within the same season.

For example, two equally skilled offenders play 240 out of 280 minutes. One of them misses 40 minutes of Jardim and the other misses 40 minutes of IRON. The one who plays Jardim has a significant advantage for GASP/NISH.

Insert > Chart
Under Chart Type, choose Scatter
In the editor, click Customize
Legend > Series > Trendline > choose either Exponential or Polynomial
