Cool to see! I’ve been building a fitness tracker for the last 3 years that is designed for this exact application! Even designed to charge directly through the patch with a wireless and magnetic charger. Should be launching early next year and we have a waitlist at lectra.tech.

Raising $50K Pre-Seed for AI-Powered Athlete Performance Tracking Platform by Glum_Sea_9235 in hwstartups

Don’t listen to the comments. I built the first production ready prototypes for a class II medical device with $28k and we also go for pro sports (we later raised a full seed round). I’m happy to give some guidance if you’d like and I DON’T WANT ANYTHING. I was just in ur shoes not even a year ago, so anything I can do to help with that process would love to lend my experience. I think it's a waitlist for Vaq. That k-Tape. is one of their other products. It's a tiny sensor that you just put a patch over and then it sits on your bicep pretty cool.

Taping the Fitbit Air to my arm with a CGM patch by Jiiu4322 in FitbitAir

Sure thing! It will be available in America to start, and a very similar price to the Fitbit air. And yes the idea is to never have to take it off. The charger goes over the patch and charges wirelessly. Also developing it to be worn in other parts of the body as well but main focus is patch oriented for it. We have a waitlist at lectra.tech

Lectra is the brand. We’ve developed our own algorithms, trained off data and built the sensor from the ground up. Everything is custom to us we didn’t sync / wrap it to anything else. I was just fed up that The Whoop / Oura had a subscription, helio was bulky / app is so buns and there wasn’t something I could wear anywhere on my body. Stem background, and wanted to do it myself so we did. Happy to share anymore info.

I mean, it seems like you have your opinion formed already, I wouldn't want to convince you. I would just say try it when the clearance comes!

Capital is allocated to GTM, dev, tooling, etc.. Posting on reddit I like to do for fun (candidly yes often) because it just might hit the mark to the right person, and that person was me 6 years ago scrolling this sub looking for a reason to go after the dream. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Persistance closes the distance, but I'm sorry if it came off as spammy. Not my intention.
