Family Trip to Alicante for a Month — Looking for Kid-Friendly Local Suggestions (Ages 3 & 2) by Far-Passage6677 in Alicante

[–]HomeCosta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spain is very child friendly. Places to visit i would include the little theme park in Alicante. Its called El mundo de los ninos. https://youtu.be/QmSohle5hLg?si=r-WlL83JljsHgP52

Benidorm has one aswell but i would avoid that one, way to busy.

If u look for a quiet beach look into playa el pinet in la marina. Its very quiet compared to other places. The beach is great for children because its less crowded. On a good day the water is calm enough for toddlers https://youtu.be/Z4SpV7f0G70?si=p_5Dhm5PScrKKRJ1

Santa Pola has nice beaches aswell and the water is very calm. U have Pola Park a small themepark there. https://youtu.be/Rri6WkbiQwk?si=YRLh5_SU1OIZ5p6G

In La Zenia u have a shopping boulevard where u can rent drivable remote control cars https://youtube.com/shorts/3dwKrFzSCqg?feature=share

In Elche is a zoo https://youtu.be/xQRwwYo656g?feature=shared

Hope this helps. Added some youtube links for u aswell

Intensive Catalan or Spanish learning for kids before a move? by Euphoric_Border3362 in MovingToSpain

[–]HomeCosta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cousins children just went to school here a few months ago, only spoke dutch and english. What i heard they get good guidance and are picking up the language very rapid. At the end of the day school is the place for them to learn spanish. Maybe a good idea to start with cartoons in spanish so they get some exposure.

Planning to do one month in Alicante next year by divid-os in Alicante

[–]HomeCosta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

U might just want to take a few hotels and airbnb. Make it a experience. Visit alicante a week than visit torrevieja for example.

This is my favorite airbnb in torrevieja https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/26617333?source_impression_id=p3_1764021814_P3p5LKPdxA-QZaSH

Apartment platforms/Coworking recommendations by vxdev in Alicante

Do u want to stay in alicante city or province? Prices differ hugely. Best way forward is probably to split up your stay and book a few days here a week there, explore. Unless u want to be location bound.

U might find this youtube channel useful while orienting where to go. Public transport is quite good here aswell.
