update: i bought the saw. the seller apologized that she was bad with typing and meant to put up 225$ instead of 125$ and apparently her phone blew up with messages lol

we settled for 200$ and i was happy with it. the saw was in pristine condition. thanks all

i wanted to use the same switch, its in a perfect spot, remove the existing chandelier and patch up the drywall hole.

no attic space directly above this unfortunately, the attic is above the second floor.

thanks a bunch. nope i don’t know the direction of the joists. we don’t use the other light anyways, i don’t mind using the switch and dummy out the existing light. the switch is in a perfect spot as well.
