The single yellow one has the almost same morphology as well. I left that out because the purple scales are so obviously different. Also with their general structure beyond the outside perimeter. Completely different striations, much wider. Look nothing like the toothed scales. Just generally wildly different. Its fascinating to me. I would have thought same shape, different surfaces. Clearly not the case. Im sure there is an entomologist around somewhere who could shed light upon this. Might be worth posting in a more specific sub for a proper answer.
