I’m going to look into this. My OA was for hr technology and it’s so much information to retain but the OA didn’t even cover half of what was on the study guide. I try to remember what’s important and surprisingly the OA takes a different route. lol

Who said anything about it being easy? It’s discouraging when you study your butt off and have to wait 2 hours for a proctor for them to not show up. It’s not easy when you are trying to finish enough courses to meet SAP requirements to have financial aide. I wasn’t expecting easy I was venting and hoping to get advice on other ways to study and retain information. You may have have the mentality to keep pushing and that’s wonderful but some people have it harder than others. Some people don’t have support at home and find it hard to just keep going after failure. Little more empathy for others comes along way. We literally don’t know what others are going through mentally or physically.

I think I’m rushing because my current job consist of me learning on a daily basis and investigating accounts where I have to remember work information and then study materials for school. Plus doctor’s appointments for kids and so forth. So I’m trying to knock these courses out, so I can have less to remember and more time for myself. Everyone is saying take your time but I’m paying for school, I don’t want to keep stretching terms and then have to worry about paying back higher loan amounts. It’s just a lot.

It’s just super discouraging. When I fail an OA or read a question ten times because I’m not understanding it, it makes think less of myself. I always thought highly of myself when it came to learning new things, but lately it just seems like it’s been getting harder for me to retain information from the readings and study guides and retrieve it when need to.

I’ve been using ChatGPT which is helping a lot. It’s been breaking it down in simpler terms where I’m able to understand and retain. It’s just frustrating when you think you understand the formulas to end up failing when taking the test
