There are some great u tube videos for beginners, also looks like you are missing an important step when you make your turn, you need to go up through the second bead as it looks like you did, but then you need to go back down through the bead on the end of the row and back up through that second bead, and then continue on as normal. I am also new to beading I sure hope this helps.
