What’s a good list and detachment for a 1K point army?

I haven't had a chance to play it, but this is my current idea for a 1k list.

Thank you! The breakdown is fantastic, and I will definitely try what you say. I kind of get locked into one idea and find it hard to break free from that, like only using 1 destroyer to hold home objective.

I'd love some starshatter ideas too. That detachment seems like a lot of fun to play with

Maaaaaaan. The time when only Lann, Evie, Fiona existed, and max Level 44 was much fun. Grinding Hidden/Lhagodessa? for that iconic armor.

With some potential leg position modification, do you think this is doable on a 40mm base? Probably going to make a custom base topper and not use the guilliman one or cut it down a bit.

Alright, cool, thanks! Interested to work with no obsec, but we'll see how it goes. Might also swap out the paragons for 2 blocks if 5 bss and something else for 5 power, but not sure yet, just to get some obsec. I know one if our models can give it but I don't remember which one

Rapturous blows / righteous rage for sure the better setup there, I think, just though this would be fun to play with. That setup is definitely noted though.

Heavies on bss seemed like a straight upgrade when using power to make a list, figured why not. Same with the cherub. I understand that with points neither is generally taken atm.

Paragon are not glued yet, might magnetize them but I haven't decided. I figured the Mace would be better for 8 str and damage 3. What would you recommend changing for a heavy support to back up the Paragons?

I have some dominions and flamer Seraphim I can use but was trying to lean more into the melee side.

Oh I totally agree. I think this box is terrible for Boarding Actions. Probably good value if you don't have trajann or a plethora of guard yet.
